Months had passed since the day Apex has died and Basira had her child taken from her. For the most part they just continued on as normal. As much as they could at least. The atmosphere was never the same since that day.

It lacked Apex's warmth comforting aura. The usually jokes that would be exchanged were almost nonexistent now. All that was their now was pent up anger and pain.

The one it had hit most was Basira as expected. She was different. The warm hearted woman she had become after becoming close with the group and Apex had become stone cold. Even though she still showed her fondness of her companions it didn't feel like before.

Hate could be felt with every word she spoke, anger with every step, with everything she did. She was a walking furnace of hate and anger and would you expect from her. She found some form of happiness in the worst of situations.

Her sister was taken from her. Her lover was murdered and her daughter was stripped from her.

She had lost everything that made her whole. Everything that was keeping her together and without that. She just had a build up of hate she couldn't set free.

"ALRIGHT USUAL ROUTINE!"

The same old routine. Every damn day it was the same thing and they hated it. At this point it became sickening.

Marched to their rooms to be lab rats as they were force to train again to make sure they were at peak shape to be weapons for humans.

However Basira saw this as the only way she could somewhat let out some anger. With every punch of a punching bag, every lift of her weights, every step. All of it let out small amounts of the anger she with held but never enough.

When she slept she was tortured by memories of that day. The day she lost everything each dream was the same and it would always end the same as well. With his face. The dog that killed her lover. The Father of her child.

She vowed every time that she would find him and make him suffer. Even though it looked like that day would never come. Or so she thought.

BOOM!

The prison shook as a massive explosion was heard as they were being moved back into their cell. The guards rushed to get them in and seal the barrier before rushing off as the alerts went off.

Red lights flashed as the alarm blared in their ears.

"What's happening?" Mira questioned confused by it all.

"Someone attacking?" Adan voiced somewhat eager to join in.

As they posed their questions Basira felt a voice in her head.

"Basira! Basira!"

The voice flushed the hate from her as she recognised it instantly. "Ulima? It can't be."

"It's me, we're here to break you out." Ulima reassured.

"I missed you so much. It's been so long. I thought you was-" Basira voiced in her mind.

"You know I always keep my promises." Ulima joked causing a smile to crack from Basira.

Something she hadn't done in a long time.
"I guess you do."

"We're on our way to you now this place is a labyrinth. Sit tight." Ulima reassured.

"Okay."

"Basira? What's wrong?" Aria asked as she noticed she was in a trance.

"Are you smiling?" Ignis questioned having not seen that from her in a long time.
