Fractured

Chapter 52: Finally

The sounds of Beasts, Humans, Lupi and Telik's clashing filled the island and in doing so the ears of the young crimson Lupi. After the shocking arrival of the enemy they had been preparing to strike against for so long having come to them and the return of their Alpha Gin, Rufus was left confused on how to deal with the situation.

Still in his Lunam state after his mass blood absorption he stood still amongst the chaos trying to figure out how he should react. Basira made it clear what the newly named Telum goal was. They were here to wipe all of them out no matter what and from what he could see Gin had been used as a weapon for them. A weapon that had been aimed at his own son.

"Fuck, This is all fucked!" Rufus spoke to himself as he ran his hands through his short red hair. "What did they do to him? Shit, Agnello is going to need help with that head Hunter guy and Gin after him." He slapped his armoured hands against his face as he pulled himself back together as he knew what he had to do next. " I gotta get to Agnello, I have to help him fix Gin somehow."

"DIE MUTT!"

Rufus was surprised by the sound of two Obeah Men coming from being him but before he could react he noticed two portals opening up being them. Out the portals was two dire wolves that brought a smile to Rufus' face as he recognised them instantly. The two wolves tore through the Obeah Men killing them instantly.

"Maximus! That's my boy!" Rufus and his trusted dire wolf ran to each other as he wrapped his arms around him. "Man you had me worried for a second buddy!" Maximus proceeded to lick his face as he was equally excited to see Rufus again.

However their reunion was interrupted by another portal that had opened in which Vesper had exited. No words came out of her mouth as she walked directly to Rufus grabbing his face and locking lips with his. Rufus was suddenly hit by a fiery wave of passion which made his body feel it was set alight. He was quick to reciprocate by passionately kissing her back and holding onto her body before the short emotional embrace.

The two pulled themselves away from each other with cheeky smiles on their faces. "Well that was pleasant." Rufus said cheerfully.

"All this shit is stressing me the fuck out just need that to refocus." Vesper said as she sighed with relief with her head now cleared. Her Dire Wolf Astra walked up next to her rubbing her head against her as the soft touch of her fur calmed Vesper right down. "Thanks girl." She looked at Rufus with a curious eye noticing his new Lunam state form. "So you figured yours out huh?"

Rufus stood confused for a moment till he looked at himself noticing his change of appearance. "Oh yeah, just kinda happened. Looks like my thing is a blood shard impact or something."

Vesper not exactly knowing what that meant shrugged her shoulders, still impressed by the achievement. "Sounds pretty cool but we got more important shit to focus on."

Her face quickly switched back to being more serious as she remembered the situation. "We have to help Agnello."

Rufus' face matched hers as he already had the same idea going through his head. "Was thinking the exact same thing."

The two quickly hopped on their dire wolves using the height advantage to search the battlefield and locate Agnello. Vesper wasn't quick to spot Agnello pulling Chace off his father as the three fought a Three Way battle.

"This way!" Vesper called out as she opened up a portal for the two to ride through. The two quickly leapt through the portal to help their friend in need.

Savage noises filled Agnello's ears. Savage, horrifying sounds that came from the one person he never hoped to hear such sounds from. As he stared into the eyes of his own father, his ruthless, savage eyes as he was pressed on his back trying his best to avoid his viscous attempts to tear into his flesh he couldn't bring himself to fight back. The sadness welled up to the point where his arms felt too weak to keep him off and Gin began to chomp into his shoulder causing Agnello to yell out.
