Fractured

Chapter 23: Awakening: Violet and Indigo

Desire is inescapable. Every being desire's something. Whether or not that be something physical like money, women, clothes or something we cannot grasp like love, fame and power. We all desire something. The desire that seems to stand above most and be the most common amongst most is the desire to be loved. To know that someone cares and is watching over. Hence why we have religions dedicated to beings that have nothing but undying love for us so that no matter what we always feel loved. In some cases this is pushed further in the desire for a partner someone to share their affection with and someone to share theirs with them. To be touch, to be embraced, to be kissed. As beautiful as this seems ones slavery to desire can take them down a dark path for once that love is taken from us or rejects us that very thing we desired with all our hearts becomes the thing that breaks it.

The crowd with faces and excitement and confusion at the situation that was in front of them.

"Wait who are those two hot Violet and Indigo chicks in front of Agnello?"

"How is he doing that?"

"Not gonna lie that's pretty fucking cool!"

Lucine looked at the three women in front of her holding her ground and taking the chance to catch her breath. She looked behind Indigo to see Agnello still on the ground coughing and in pain.

"I don't see any crystals. How is he doing this?" Lucine looked closer to notice that Agnello's hair had changed with it now being split in half in Indigo and Violet. "What are you?"

Just as Lucine said that Indigo flew towards her with her discs in hand forcing Lucine to quickly deflect the attack. Indigo instantly flew back in for another attack repeating keeping Lucine occupied blocking her attacks with her staff. Lucine became more and more frustrated by Indigo's constant in and out tactics.

"Red!" Lucine shouted as her colour changed and she aimed her staff to fire a hot beam at Indigo forcing her to stop her attack and focus on evasion.

As Lucine was focused on Indigo the two Violets smirked before rushing in with their staffs both twirling them before batting Lucine in the back sending her flying. As Lucine flew through the air Another Violet clone appeared in front of her using her bo staff to push herself into a powerful kick sending Lucine up towards Indigo. Indigo quickly flew above her bringing her foot up before slamming it down on Lucine's back causing her to crash into the floor.

Lucine slowly pushed herself back up with her staff with her hair now messed up and starting to fall from it's ponytail form. The now three Violets rushed towards Lucine as she was recovering ready to hit again with another combo of attacks.

"What's wrong? We too much for ya!" The three Violets said in unison.

"Blue." Lucine mumbled going back into her electrified state. As the  Violets in closed her she swiped her staff sending a wave of lightning forward taking out two of the Violet clones. One however managed to jump over the attack pointing her staff into the air for Indigo to grab it.

"Don't worry I've got you!" Indigo reassured as she carried Violet who swung herself with the staff into a kick which slammed into Lucine's staff pushing her back.

Indigo dropped Violet right after the attack allowing her to hand and continue her attacks.  Two exchanged in multiple attempts to strike each other but both blocking and deflecting each others attacks. Lucine using her lightning fast movements was able to overwhelm Violet and push her back.

Lucine quickly looked at Agnello who was on the ground and noticing the opportunity in an electrified sprint went towards him ready to strike him down. Indigo however refused to let the boy she had sworn to protect to be harmed as she zoomed in with a flurry of rapid kicks forcing Lucine to block and pushing her back before looping over floating in front of Agnello once again. Violet now stood beside her resting  on her shoulder giving Lucine a sassy look.
