All the time we are told to keep on moving. No matter how hard it gets, no matter how much it hurts, no matter how unbearable it may feel you have to keep on moving. That's what they all say but it's easier said than done. When every day you have to fight to keep the dark thoughts from creeping back in. Distracting yourself, filling your mind as many other things as possible to drown out the demons but no matter what you do they'll always be there. Waiting to climb back to the surface but you just gotta... keep on moving.
"Hey! All of you wake up!"
Their ears twitched at the sound of Ayla's voice. Vesper and Agnello shot up out of their sleep now sitting up straight ready to listen to what Ayla had to say. While Rufus casually and slowly raised out of his sleep letting out a large yawn as his bones cracked as he stretched. Ayla addressed the three as she spoke.
"Sorry to wake you guys up so abruptly but we gotta get moving."
The trio had now gotten up from their sitting positions now standing giving Ayla their full attention. Apart from Rufus he was still scratching his head and trying to wipe the sleep of his face. Ayla ignored Rufus as she continued to speak.
" Before we can set off you guys need to go get your supplies. You should go see Leora, she should have all your potions ready for you and unless you wanna make the whole journey on foot you should talk to Artio, so she can set you up with your Dire wolves."
" Understood." Agnello and Vesper responded with Rufus lagging behind in his reply yawning out his words.
" Yeah, got it."
" Alright I got to get back and go through the final preparations for the trip. May the moon give you strength."
The three saluted making call motion across their chests bidding her farewell. The group made their way through what was now a small camp in the middle of the Forest. The morning sun shone through the gaps between the tall woodland trees, leaving spotlights littered across the camp. It was a beautiful site but despite that the atmosphere still felt dim with events that had previously occurred. Before there was around a hundred of us and now a mere fifty maybe less remain. Even though no one made it obvious they had lost so much but they had no time to sit and mourn. They had to keep moving like they always have. Pack members were rushing around each preparing for what was to come. As they walked to their destination they could see the individual groups of Lupi being given their debriefings to their respective units. The group reached their destination a small hut with the words Get your potions here written in silver light hovering above. The three stepped inside to see a room filled with shelves covered with bottles filled with red, black and white.
" Leora, are you there?" Agnello called.
"Excuse excuse, coming through!"
Just as he said those words a Lupi woman came rushing through draped in beautiful silver and white robes lined with a stunning white glow at the seams. Her luscious white hair tied back in a ponytail leaving a pretty little fringe sitting above her breathtaking white eyes which also had a slight glow to them. Her arms were filled with potions as she walked past the three and let out a sigh of relief as she placed them on the table.
