Chapter 51: Wartime

"Let the War begin!"

One Basira's word, everyone's weapons suddenly locked into place as fingers were instantly placed on triggers and hands clasped on weapons. Basira looked around as no one had taken the first shot as if everyone was waiting for someone to make a move. She smirked at such an act.

"Hmm how polite of you all. I guess we'll make the first move." She turned her head to her Chosen. Specifically toward Lyric with a smirk on her face. " Lyric, why don't you show them just what they're dealing with? Looks like they need a reminder."

A smile came over Lyric's face as he cracked his knuckles and turned up the volume on his headphones.

Adan nudged Aria with an excited look on his face. "Wonder what song he pulls out this time?"

Aria simply ignored him, staying focused on Lyric. Ignis looked over to Dagda who was smoking a cigarette.

"That foresight says anything about what your man's about to do?"

Dagda puffed out a cloud of smoke before answering. "He's about to fuck shit right up and then the fun begins."

Lyric's fluorescent tattoos and dreads changed to green as the bass began to build as the music rumbled the area. Causing everyone to firm up their stance on the ground. He raised his hand to a salute as he looked directly at Basira.

"SIR YES SIR!"

In a sudden burst he sent a blast from his feet shooting him up into the air before unleashing another sound blast that sent him right into the centre of a group of Hunters.

"TEN-HUT TEN-HUT, I DON'T HEAR YA N*****"

Lyric's eyes were filled with ecstatic violence as he screamed the lyrics into a Hunter's face causing his helmet to shatter from the ages of sound unleashed. Everyone else aimed their weapons and fired on sight. Such caused everyone else to leap into battle with Basira and her group joining and Lupi also going into battle. Ulima and Basira instantly clashed.

Chace had his sights dead set on Gin as he got ready to charge him. Agnello however saw his eyes set on him as he light-dashed right into him pinning him to the ground. Layna looked at Gin as her eyes glowed ordering him to attack. He let out a mighty roar as he zoomed across the battlefield and crashed right into Chace and Agnello. The two slowly stood up as Gin savagely barked and growled at them. Met with eyes of Sadness and Vengeance.

"MARCH! TEN-HUT TEN-HUT!"

Lyric began to mockingly March like a soldier through the armies as he unleashed sound waves with every stomp causing the ground to shake and his enemies to lose their balance. He suddenly turned into an emerald blur as he boomed enemy to enemy knocking waves of hunters and Obeah Men into the air with waves of sound as the aggressive beat of the music matched his slaughter. He grabbed two hunters by the straps on their armour taking them with him as he launched into the air.

"CORPES, BODIES IN THE MORGUE I'M AN ORPHAN!"

He slammed their bodies into the ground causing the earth to crack and the sound to burst from them causing any surrounding foes to be blasted off into the distance. Every bit of slaughter brought immense joy and fuelled his dance to beat through combat. Matching every beat with deadly attack, every punch, every kick, every blast. It was all in sync.

"WE GON' FEED HIM TILL HE FULL UP!"

Lyric quickly grabbed an Obeah Man by his collar as he placed his hand over his mouth and pumped sound waves into his body until his head popped like a balloon. The Blood sprayed all over his face which only fed his blood thirst. At this point Obeah Men began to run from the sight of him. Lyric trained his eyes on a group about to run into the jungle.
