Chapter 66: The Garden and The Moon

Agnello followed the words of his father rushing to see if Leora and the others were okay. Seeing them in his sight only for his vision to lock with aggression onto one.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Agnello light dashed across the space between them with his hand bladed and burning with light at Rachel's throat.

"Agnello wait." Leora grabbed onto Agnello's arm.

"She's a Hunter. She's with the man that is currently trying to kill my father why the fuck is she here alive!" Agnello's arm became so bright that the light began to blind Rachel.

"I'm not here to hurt you, to hurt any of you." Rachel pleaded.

Agnello quickly wrapped his other hand round her throat as his glowing hand pointed to her face. "You expect me to believe that?"

Suddenly Agnello was thrown back. In an instant he got back up and dashed at Rachel until he was halted as Leora stepped in his path. "Stop. She's with me, I trust her and she trusts me and I won't let you kill her."

The two stared each other dead in the eyes. Agnello's eyes flickering Red as she Leora looked back definitely.

"Kid she's not the one we're mad at." Red voices in his head which came as a surprise to the others for him of all people to be calming Agnello down.

Agnello's hands powered down as his anger simmered. "You better be fucking right about otherwise the moment I get even get a hair raise of a feeling that she's going to hurt any of us I'll rip out her throat myself."

Agnello walked past Leora knocking her shoulder causing her to become somewhat agitated. With a deep breath she let her frustrations go as she knew the severity of the situation had everyone on edge.

"You guys alright?" He asked as he gave Rachel glare as she rose back to her feet.

"Feel like we should've asking you that. You're the one that almost got consumed by a black hole." Rufus pointed out.

"No time to worry about me." Agnello quickly diverted the conversation away from him. "Everything is going to shit."

"What can we do?" Vesper offered.

Rachel raised her awkwardly causing Agnello and the others to shoot soul crushing glares at her. "Ummm, I got the order via out comms from Chace, he's ordered all personnel to come to this point."

"If they're coming Telik's will follow shortly after." Vesper noted.

"My Father and Mother is already putting all their strength into taking on Basira and Chace they won't be able to take on armies along with that." Agnello explained.

"Most them should be being held back by Ayla, Kuro and the others anyway." Leora pointed out.

"Then I guess we'll have to hold them back." Rufus slammed his fists together ready to take on the task. "If they need time we'll give them time."

"We need this fight to end before the night ends. Otherwise we're screwed." Vesper brought to everyone's attention.

Agnello growled as the weight of everything became unbearable. " Alright, I need you lot to hold the forces coming this way as long as you can." He took a deep breath as he clenched his fists. "I'm going to do my best end this."

Leora stopped him as he turned away. "You're not alone in this. I'm coming with you, I'm your Moon remember and..."

"A Wolf is nothing without his Moon." Agnello recollected the night they became each other's lovers. The day they became one and he knew looking into her eyes that nothing he could say would stop her. "Fine but if it's too much or if I tell you to, run."
