Warriors: Eclipsepaw's Hatred (Complete)

Chapter 1

 The birds were chirping on the branches as a black-and-white she-kit left the nursery. She looked around. ''Where are those birds.. I'll catch them!'' She hissed and looked around. A white she-cat laughed and padded towards the kit.

 ''Eclipsekit, you can't catch the birds. Not yet, at least.'' She purred. 

 Eclipsekit looked at her with sad eyes. ''But mom, they're very annoying!" She cried. 

 The queen laughed. ''Well, they can be annoying at times, but sometimes, it's nice to hear them chirp. Better than leaf-bare, when there are no birds, right?''

 Eclipsekit nodded. She was born in leaf-bare along with the other kits, and now it was finally newleaf. She then looked around. ''I'll go now. Bye, mama!''

 She padded away and looked around. She wanted to make friends. She then saw a black-and-ginger she-kit and padded awkwardly towards her. ''Uh, hello.'' She meowed.

 ''Hi!'' The black-and-ginger kit purred. ''I'm Butterflykit, what about you?''

 ''Eclipsekit.'' The kit murmured shyly. 

 Butterflykit smiled. ''Nice name, Eclipsekit!"

 ''Oh, thanks, your name is also, uh.. nice.'' Eclipsekit meowed awkwardly. 

 ''Gah, why is that kit hanging out with the ugly kit?''

 Eclipsekit turned as she heard those words. A white she-kit with purple-blue eyes and a silver she-kit with dark blue-gray spots were staring at them, whispering. 

 ''I don't know.'' The white she-kit murmured. ''I mean, Butterflykit is too ugly! Eclipsekit is too pretty to hang out with that ugly kit.'' She laughed. 

 Butterflykit looked offended, but Eclipsekit growled. ''Hey, that's not nice!'' She hissed.

 The two kits seemed surprised, but then padded towards Eclipsekit. ''You don't need Butterflykit, hang out with us!" The silver she-kit meowed. The two kits pushed Eclipsekit away from the black-and-ginger she-kit. 

 ''My name is Violetkit,'' The white she-kit meowed. ''And that's Leopardkit, my sister.'' She looked towards the silver she-kit. 

 Eclipsekit growled. ''I don't care, now leave me alone, I don't want to hang out with two rude kits!" She hissed and went back to Butterflykit.

 ''Butterflykit?'' She asked. 

 Butterflykit jumped. ''Oh, Eclipsekit! I thought you were going with Leopardkit and Violetkit!" She meowed. 

 Eclipsekit shook her head. ''I wouldn't want to hang out with them, but why do you seem so sad?''

 Butterflykit sighed. ''Violetkit and Leopardkit call me ugly almost every day, and.. I once had two friends, Sweetkit and Petalkit. We used to hang out a lot, but Violetkit and Leopardkit manipulated them, as they tried to do with you, and, well.. Sweetkit and Petalkit don't talk with me anymore.''

 Eclipsekit hissed. ''Such fox-hearts.'' She rolled her eyes. 

 Then, she saw Butterflykit stare at her. ''Uh, Eclipsekit, it might be rude to ask, but why is your left eye different than the other?'' She asked. 

 ''Well, I'm blind in one eye.'' Eclipsekit murmured. 

 Butterflykit blinked. ''It's horrible!''

 ''It's not, really.'' Eclipsekit meowed. ''I honestly like only seeing with one eye, because I can't see the whole camp and see everything that's going on.'' 

 Butterflykit nodded. ''I see.. oh, and also, can we be friends?'' She asked. 

 Eclipsekit smiled. ''Of course! I promise I won't betray you, like Sweetkit and Petalkit did.'' She purred. 

 Butterflykit sighed. ''It's not their fault. Violetkit and Leopardkit told them rumors about me, and they believed them.''

 ''Well, their fault they believed Violetkit and Leopardkit.'' Eclipsekit rolled her eyes. 

 Butterflykit reluctantly nodded. ''Right.. and I have to go. Bye, Eclipsekit!'' She purred and padded back in the nursery. 

 Eclipsekit looked after her. I promise I won't betray you like Sweetkit and Petalkit.. I will be a loyal friend.
