''Why did you go see the kits?'' Bramblehiss growled. Eclipsepaw stared at the Dark Forest tom, her claws unsheathed. After ThunderClan came back from fighting alongside WindClan, she went right to the medicine cat's den to get her wounds patched up, then went directly to sleep just for Bramblehiss to scream at her when she woke up in the Dark Forest.
''It warmed your heart too much.'' Thistlefang rolled his eyes. ''In the battle, you could've killed some WindClan cats.'' He continued.
''Kill some WindClan cats? Are you two out of your mind?!'' Eclipsepaw hissed.
Thistlefang grinned. ''No. Two of their elders are dead, you should've killed the other elder. He will be sad from losing his brother and friend, anyway.''
''I would never hurt an elder!'' Eclipsepaw hissed.
''Then you're weak.'' Bramblehiss taunted her.
''Weak?'' Eclipsepaw laughed. ''Oh, try me.''
''Sure.'' Bramblehiss laughed, but Thistlefang slapped the tom's shoulder with his tail.
''Not yet, remember?'' He whispered, and Bramblehiss nodded, rolling his eyes.
''You could've killed an apprentice or a younger warrior, though.'' Thistlefang meowed. ''Anyways, do you remember the killing bite?'' He asked.
Eclipsepaw nodded. ''Yeah, what about it?'' She asked.
''Well, today, you'll learn the killing blow. I'll show you how to do it.''
The she-cat sat down, looking at the toms as they padded in front of each other.
''So, during a battle, when you want or need to kill a cat, the other cat has to stay still.'' Bramblehiss started. ''Like Thistlefang.''
Eclipsepaw looked over at Thistlefang, who was standing still, his eyes fixed on Bramblehiss.
''You have to run towards the cat, or Thistlefang for me, and then let yourself fall to the ground and slide underneath him. While you're underneath, rake the cat's belly with your claws until you slide away from him.'' Bramblehiss meowed.
''Like this.'' The brown tom meowed, and ran towards Thistlefang. Then, he let himself fall to the ground and slid underneath the gray tom and clawed his belly a little, but not all the way through.
Thistlefang let out a soft hiss, but then turned towards Eclipsepaw. ''Understood?'' He asked, and Eclipsepaw nodded.
''Good. We'll practice that for a bit.'' Bramblehiss meowed. ''First, do it on Thistlefang.''
Eclipsepaw nodded and padded in front of Thistlefang, ready. I don't think I'll ever use this fighting move. Only if I really have to.
Eclipsepaw yawned, opening her eyes. She finished training with Thistlefang and Bramblehiss, and she knew how to use the fighting blow, although she didn't want to ever use it. She got up and headed outside.
She noticed Gorsefoot and rushed towards him. ''Gorsefoot, are we going to train?'' She asked, but the tom shook his head.
''No training today. We'll just go on a hunting patrol with Sweetpaw, Softheart and Puddlewish.''
Eclipsepaw nodded and headed towards the three she-cats, who were waiting at the exit of the camp. Gorsefoot followed.
When Sweetpaw noticed Eclipsepaw, she lowered her head. Eclipsepaw huffed. Good, I didn't want to talk with you anyways.
