Warriors: Eclipsepaw's Hatred (Complete)

Chapter 4

 ''Eclipsekit, wake up!'' A voice meowed. 

 Eclipsekit opened her eyes and saw her mother, Tulipwing, purring. ''What is it, mom?'' She asked. She was still very tired.

 ''Today you're becoming an apprentice, did you forget?'' She meowed. 

 Eclipsekit looked confused. ''Wait..'' She thought for a little bit, but then purred. ''Oh, I remember!'' She got up and ran towards Goldenturtle's nest, but Butterflykit wasn't there.

 ''Where is Butterflykit?'' She asked. 

 Goldenturtle looked at the black-and-white she-kit. ''She is already outside.'' 

 Eclipsekit nodded. ''Thank you.'' She padded outside. She saw Butterflykit and ran towards her. 

 ''We're becoming apprentices!'' Butterflykit told her, excited. 

 ''Yes, I know!'' Eclipsekit purred, but then rolled her eyes as she saw Leopardkit, Violetkit, Sweetkit, Petalkit and Russetkit talking. ''Oh yeah. They too. I'm so excited to hear them talk every day, like usual.''

 ''Well, at least they won't always be in the same place as us. Sometimes, they'll have to go on patrols, or we have to, or something like that.'' Butterflykit meowed. 

 Eclipsekit nodded. ''That's good.''

 ''Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!'' Dreamstar yowled. 

 Eclipsekit froze. ''It's happening!'' She got up and ran towards Tulipwing, her mother, who was already there. She sat down. Butterflykit padded towards Tigerbite and sat next to him. Goldenturtle rushed out of the nursery and then sat next to Butterflykit.

 ''Today is a special day for ThunderClan. I have to do two announcements.'' Dreamstar meowed. ''First, two apprentices are ready to become warriors. Juniperpaw and Stonepaw, step forward.'' She meowed. 

 The two apprentices stepped forward. Eclipsekit noticed that Juniperpaw wasn't limping anymore.

 ''Juniperpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?'' Dreamstar asked. 

 ''I do.'' Juniperpaw meowed. 

 ''Then, by the powers of StarClan, I will give you your warrior name. From this day forward, you will be known as Juniperspirit.''

 Juniperspirit nodded and padded back among the crowd. 

 Dreamstar looked at Stonepaw. ''Stonepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?'' She asked. 

 ''I do.'' The brown tom nodded.

 ''Then, by the powers of StarClan, I will give you your warrior name. From this day forward, you will be known as Stonestorm. We welcome you both as full warriors of ThunderClan.''

 ''Juniperspirit! Stonestorm!'' The Clan chanted as Stonestorm padded back after Juniperspirit.

 ''Now, another important ceremony. All the kits are ready to become apprentices. Eclipsekit, Butterflykit, Violetkit, Leopardkit, Russetkit, Sweetkit and Petalkit, step forward.''

 Eclipsekit got up and padded foward. Butterflykit, Violetkit, Leopardkit, Russetkit, Sweetkit and Petalkit did too.

 ''You have all reached your sixth moon, and it is time you become apprentices. Eclipsekit, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Eclipsepaw. Gorsefoot will be your mentor.''

 Eclipsepaw turned to see Gorsefoot padding towards her. They touched noses and sat next to each other. 

 ''Butterflykit, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Butterflypaw. Softheart will be your mentor.'' 

 Butterflypaw and Softheart touched noses and joined Gorsefoot and Eclipsepaw.

 ''Violetkit, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Violetpaw. Tigerbite will be your mentor.'' 

 Violetpaw touched noses with Tigerbite, looking happy. 

 Of course, Tigerbite is a good fighter, that's why Violetpaw is happy.

 ''Leopardkit, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Leopardpaw. Graylake will mentor you.'' 

 Leopardpaw and Graylake touched noses, and Leopardpaw looked okay with it.

 ''Russetkit, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Russetpaw. Spiderstorm will be your mentor.'' 

 Russetpaw and Spiderstorm touched noses.

 ''Sweetkit, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Sweetpaw. Puddlewish will be your mentor.'' 

 Sweetpaw and Puddlewish touched noses.

 ''And finally, Petalkit. Until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Petalpaw. Feathercloud will be your mentor.'' 

 Petalpaw and Feathercloud touched noses.

 ''Eclipsepaw! Butterflypaw! Violetpaw! Leopardpaw! Russetpaw! Sweetpaw! Petalpaw!'' The Clan chanted. 

 ''Meeting dismissed.'' Dreamstar meowed and jumped down from the Highrock.

 Barkclaw and Tulipwing padded towards Eclipsepaw. ''Congratulations, we are very proud of you.'' They purred. 

 Eclipsepaw smiled. ''Thank you. I promise I'll be a good apprentice.''

 Tulipwing and Barkclaw nodded and padded away. Eclipsepaw turned and padded towards her mentor. ''Gorsefoot, what are we going to do now?'' She asked. 

 Gorsefoot looked at her, thinking. ''Well, first, we are going to go in the forest for you to get a moss, and I'll show you the territory.''

 Eclipsepaw nodded and followed Gorsefoot out in the forest. She looked around. ''So pretty.'' She heard the birds chirp before, but in the camp. It was prettier in the forest.

 Gorsefoot smiled. ''I had the same expression when I became an apprentice. But don't waste time looking around. We have to go back to camp fast. It'll rain soon.''

 Eclipsepaw only now noticed the dark clouds on the sky. She continued to follow Gorsefoot.

 I hope me and Butterflypaw will be good apprentices.. and good warriors one day.
