All the cats froze. Eclipseshine turned around just to see Finchstar padding towards Dreamstar. He looked angry.
''Why, in StarClan's name, are you leading your cats in my territory? Are you trying to attack us or something?'' He hissed to the ThunderClan leader.
Dreamstar sighed. ''No, Finchstar. There's a group of rogues, and one of them came into our camp without being seen and killed Wishlight.''
''I'm sorry for your loss.'' Finchstar dipped his head. ''But that still didn't answer my question, why are you leading your cats in my territory?''
''Let me finish, then.'' Dreamstar rolled her eyes. ''We got that rogue to tell us where their camp is, and it's right behind your territory. We decided to attack them, so they can leave us alone for good.''
''The rogues also bothered ShadowClan a lot.'' Finchstar meowed. ''They even killed Timbereyes, my deputy, and Firetail.'' He sighed.
Dreamstar looked troubled. ''Timbereyes is dead? We're.. sorry for your loss, Finchstar.'' But the leader looked like it was also ThunderClan's loss, not just ShadowClan's. Then, Eclipseshine remembered the day when Butterflyspirit got attacked and the ShadowClan deputy came to help.
Eclipseshine felt like there was a stone in her belly. Timbereyes was so kind! He didn't deserve to die, even if he was a ShadowClan cat. Now, she really wanted to attack the rogues.
''If you agree, I want to help. ShadowClan will never forget the rogues for their act.'' Finchstar meowed. ''I'll bring some cats and catch up with you.''
''Yes, that's a good idea. We don't know how many rogues there are.'' Dreamstar meowed. ''But we can't wait you here. We'll just keep heading straight forward, and I think you can follow our scent.'' She continued.
Finchstar nodded and turned, rushing back to ShadowClan's camp.
''Are you sure this is a good idea, Dreamstar?'' Stonestorm asked.
''Yeah, I don't trust ShadowClan. I've heard that they gave ThunderClan a lot of trouble before.'' Juniperspirit meowed.
Dreamstar flicked her tail. ''They are willing to help us this time. I'm sure it's a good idea. Now, let's continue to walk.''
Dreamstar continued to lead her cats towards the rogues' camp. They quickly caught the rogue scent and followed it. Eclipseshine flicked her shredded ears as she continued to follow her leader.
Soon, ShadowClan caught up with them. Finchstar, Snakethroat, who was now deputy, Blacknose, Icegaze, Ravenshade, and Batstorm came. Nobody talked during the journey.
They stopped before they left ShadowClan's territory. Dreamstar looked at Finchstar. ''We're leaving your territory now, as you know. The rogue camp is near. Are your warriors ready?'' She asked.
The ShadowClan leader nodded. ''Yes, my Clan is ready.'' The leader hissed.
The two Clans then started following the rogue scent, until they heard a lot of paw steps in front of them. Eclipseshine looked around. There weren't a lot of trees, only three or four. It looked like they were in WindClan's territory.
There were a lot of bushes where to hide, and Eclipseshine didn't know if it was good or bad. Then, everyone hid between a lot of bushes. The gray rogue that was in ThunderClan's camp earlier appeared from a hole in the ground, along with a dark ginger cat.
''So, you think ThunderClan is coming?'' The dark ginger tom asked.
The gray rogue nodded. ''Yes, they probably are on their way.''
