Paladin crossed his arms and he shook his head while looking up at the Dragon Orion.

"Wait-wait-wait, explain this to me first, so I understand everything. What is the Realms of Order, and what is the Realms of Chaos?" Paladin asked.

"In this Dimension Line, there is three Realms. The Realms of Order, the Realms of Grey, and the Realms of Chaos. Picture a tree. At the top of the tree is the branches, the leaves, and the pinnacle of the tree. That is the Realms of Order. They are the top of the tree, the most worshipped and looked upon as honorable. At the bottom of the tree is the roots. The roots are unable to be seen, but when they are, it is clear that they are just as powerful as the pinnacle of the tree. That is the Realms of Chaos. They are strong, but they are not well known, and they are not the honorable part of the tree, as what they have done has dirtied themselves. In the middle of the tree, is the trunk. A valuable part of the tree, but without the roots or the pinnacle of the tree, the trunk is worth nothing. That is the Realms of Grey. A part of the tree that is well known, and can be clearly seen. However, it is not worshipped, nor is it looked highly upon. The Realm we are currently in is the Realms of Grey, which is known to only be composed of the Realm of Men, the Underworld, and used to have the Overworld as well, until it was taken over by the Realms of Order.."

"So...why do the Realms of Order and the Realms of Chaos, actively fight each other? Not only that, but why do they fight over the Realms of Grey?" Paladin asked.

"It is simple Paladin. The Realms of Order and the Realms of Chaos fight over the Realms of Grey, as they are the polar opposites of each other. The Realms of Order wish for all Realms to be composed of only Order, and everything that is considered Order. Laws, Government, a structured society, no wars, no chaos, none of anything that hurts Order. This is what the Realms of Order wish for, and that is what the Gods of Order seek. On the other hand, the Realms of Chaos wish for the opposite. The Realms of Chaos wish for the Realms to be only composed of Chaos, and everything that is considered Chaos. They wish for wars, no structure to society, no system of Government, death, murder, law breaking, everything that you could imagine creating Chaos, they would support it. Because of these polar opposites, they find each other fighting. However, while they both wish to inflict Order or Chaos directly on each other's Realms, they aren't able to. Because of how powerful they both are, and how strong both of their Realms are at home. Because of this, they fight over neutral ground, the Realms of Grey. Neither side have complete control over the Realms of Grey, which makes it perfect for neutral grounds that they can engage in proxy wars over."

Paladin nods his head, understanding what the Realms of Order and what the Realms of Chaos were both trying to achieve, and why they had to fight each other.

"Can you give me some examples, of what they are both trying to accomplish exactly?"

"An example of what the Realms of Order has done, is the creation of Kingdoms around the world. Kingdoms create a structured society, with a lower, middle, and upper class. It creates laws by which people are governed by, and it creates a society which isn't full of Chaos or ruled by Chaos for the most part. An example of the Realms of Chaos however, is the Wars between the Kingdoms. The Realms of Chaos, while Kingdoms provide Order, they can also be used to create Chaos. As a result, invasions where death, pillaging, and rape are common are looked at highly by the Realms of Chaos. The Realms of Chaos actively stoke the flames of war, attempting whenever they can to make wars happen for their own enjoyment and success. Don't get it confused though, the Realms of Chaos absolutely hate how the world is at this current moment. A world where right now, the Kingdoms are mostly at peace with each other. They still want to actively undermine this world, but there is one thing stopping them at this current moment," Orion explained to Paladin.
