On the morning of Day One of the trial discussions. Archer was outside his room, leaning up against the wall behind him. Archer wasn't speaking nor was he doing anything in particular, he was just relaxing. He hears the door across from him open, and things soon changed.
"Mordred?"
Lady Diane proceeded to yawn. Her yawn was so loud you could tell she got a full night's rest.
"Good morning, Archer."
Archer walked over to Lady Diane, and quickly he embraced her with a hug. Lady Diane was still somewhat drowsy, and she was surprised when Archer hugged her out of nowhere.
"How long has it been?"
"Since the last time we've embraced each other?"
"Mhmm."
"Well... minus yesterday, it has been two weeks since the last time we've embraced each other like this."
Archer pulled his head back from Lady Diane's side, and he looked into her eyes.
"Too long... too long. But, Mordred, we need to have some serious discussions with each other."
Lady Diane became quiet as she remembered what happened the day before.
"Oh... about..."
"About the things that happened yesterday, and about what's happened to you since the last time we saw each other. I hope you don't mind..."
Lady Diane shook her head.
"I don't mind at all... but... nevermind."
Archer noticed that Lady Diane was about to mention something, but instead of mentioning it she shied away. Archer thought about pressing her about what she was going to say, but decided that if she didn't want to speak about it then he wouldn't press her for it.
"Mordred, what type of conditions did you deal with while you in the prison here? I think I already have a good idea already about how they treated you... but I want you to tell me yourself."
"Well Archer, they held me in a solitary confinement cell. There was no light coming into the cell, as there were no windows carved in the brick wall. There was no communication with other prisoners, as the door were solid and not bars. They held me there for... I don't know how long to be honest. I couldn't keep track of the time while I was imprisoned there. They never allowed me to leave, not for bathing or not for going to the bathroom."
Archer looked at the ground and clenched his right hand, making a fist as tightly as he could.
"Those fucking pointy eared bastards... I swear Mordred, I'll get fucking payback for what they did to you. I'll make sure they don't fucking get away with it."
"I'm not worried about getting payback Archer, there's more important things that we need to be worrying about than getting payback."
Archer looked back at Mordred.
"What else did they do to you?"
Archer heard what Mordred said to him, but he didn't show any signs of acknowledging it.
"What else did they do to you?"
"They did barely feed me--"
As Lady Diane mentions that she was barely fed while imprisoned, her stomach growled so loudly that Archer couldn't help but look down at her stomach.
"..."
"Sorry..."
Lady Diane blushed in embarrassment. Archer shook his head.
