Chapter 183: Endless Waves

As Jingks heard the fighting in the valley of grey plains, and he started to feel a sense of urgency within him. With this feeling, he started to pick up his speed. From walking, he started walking fast, then to full on sprinting. Until he arrived back where everyone else was.

"Everyone! You all need to hurry up! The Frostbite path needs to be destroyed now!"

Everyone stopped what they were doing. They all turned to look over at Jingks.

"What's wrong Jingks?"

"Yeah, you look like you've seen some shit."

Jingks turned to Lady Diane and Archer.

"That's because I have seen some shit--"

"Hey Jingks, where is Paladin?"

"Not only Paladin, but where is Messiah and Alexon? The three of them aren't anywhere near here. Shouldn't they be helping with the mountain?"

Jingks turned to Lady Athena and Omega, shaking his head.

"No, no, no! Listen, this isn't the time to be asking a bunch of questions. We need to hurry, they're depending on us."

"Depending on us for what Jingks?"

"Yeah Jingks. You can't expect us to work harder, and not tell us what we're working harder for."

"Hey--look!"

Everyone turned to Archer, who was pointing far out into the grey plains. Everyone looked, and immediately they were startled by what they saw.

"I-I-Is that..."

"Yes Lady Diane. The Legion of Death's Grand Army, they've finally arrived. In full force, with one hundred thousand Legionnaires. Right now, Paladin, Messiah, and Alexon, are all fighting against the Legion of Death, with the assistance of Delta."

Omega, Noxious, and Archer turned to Jingks.

"We need to go help them then! There is no way the three of them, even with Delta, can take on that massive army! It simply isn't feasible!"

"I agree with Omega! We need to go join them, and kick some Legionnaire ass together!"

"We can't waste any time either. The three of them won't be capable of lasting long against one hundred thousand Legionnaires, only together will we stand a chance."

Jingks sighs and shakes his head.

"You cannot..."

"Why!"

"Yeah, why the fuck can't we help them?"

"Noxious and Archer, if you abandon the plan to destroy the Frostbite path, then you are abandoning Frostaria and you are accepting the fate of destruction at the hands of the Legion of Death. Paladin, Messiah, and Alexon, are fighting to buy us some time. They are hoping that we can destroy the Frostbite path sooner rather than later, in the hopes of stopping the Legion of Death, but to also save their own lives. If you join them now, you are betraying them."

General Zelox nodded his head.

"Everything that we've done so far would be all for nothing Inquisitors, seeing Frostaria would surely fall from this massive army that we can see."

Archer, Omega, and Noxious all groaned.

"But still... we need to help--"

"Fighting alongside them Archer, would only be detrimental to what needs to be accomplished. You Archer, would be detrimental to their fighting."
