Early morning of the next day. Both Archer and Jingks arrive at the Evius manor gates, the two of them wearing their hoods over their heads. Jingks rings the bell at the gate, and patiently they waited for the man who opened the gate yesterday for them to appear. As they waited, Jingks turns to Archer. He looks on at Archer, and notices that Archer seemed to have gotten some sleep, the dark lines under his eyes were gone. However, he is able to tell that something was bothering him. Archer noticeably was quiet more than usual that morning. Jingks started to wonder if Archer was prepared for what was about to happen.
"You ready for what is about to happen. Archer?"
Archer hears what Jingks is saying, but in the way he physically reacts would make one assume that he didn't hear Jingks. Archer didn't turn to Jingks, nor did he show any physical reaction to hearing him at first. Jingks knew Archer heard him, as it was impossible for Archer not to hear him, so he turned back, and waited for his response.
"I am."
"Be honest Archer."
"I am telling the truth."
"You know Archer that you cannot freak out, nor can you act unreasonably when you see the condition that Lady Diane is in. You cannot freak out, for when you see how the High Elves act towards her."
"I will hold myself to the standards expected of me, which is to stay calm and stay focused. However, if anything does turn sour, I will not be afraid to react appropriately. Mordred's safety comes first, so if a fight is about to break out, then I will not hesitate to protect her."
"Fair enough Archer, but, just remember that killing the High Elves is our last resort, the last possible option. It shouldn't come to that, or at least I hope it doesn't come to that."
"I'll be keeping that in mind, no matter what I do. Doesn't mean I will obey it though."
"Figures."
While Jingks finished speaking, the man from the day before appears from a grey mist behind the gate. Standing poised, he looks on at the Inquisitors. He looked at Archer for a few moments, examining what he was wearing before he turned to Jingks.
"Inquisitor, I have a question for you."
Jingks proceeds to cross his arms.
"Ask away."
"I've heard much about the rest of the Inquisitors; the Lord Inquisitor, the Grand Wizard, Demon King, Wolf King, and the White Raven. Yet, I haven't heard much about you or the other Inquisitor. Why is that? Are the two of you considered useless?""No, that is not the reason. In fact, that isn't even close to the reason why you don't hear much about either of us."
"It may not be close to the reason, but it does seem that way. From the outside looking in, I can tell that the Lord Inquisitor is powerful, the Grand Wizard is the greatest when it comes to magic, the Wolf King demonstrates enormous physical strength, the Demon King rules over an entire race of Demons, and the White Raven protects the weak of the Capital City. I've heard much about their deeds, and what they've done to make the world better. The only Inquisitors who are never heard about are the both of you."
"Anybody within the Inquisition knows that the two of us are important, and that without us the Inquisition wouldn't be the Inquisition that it is now. Nothing is what it seems, and that rings true for the Inquisition, for the people looking on from the outside."
"As expected, no organization like the Inquisition would ever reveal what their true strengths are. Not only that, but the Lord Inquisitor sent the two of you to negotiate with Evius, and to deal with the Mordred Diane situation, so you must be important to the Inquisition. Out of curiosity Inquisitors, do you have a plan on what you are doing yet?"
