Chapter 178: The War Begins

Legionnaires of the Legion of Death, holding onto their black swords were patiently waiting by the trees. Without moving or breathing, they were staring at the fleet of ships far in front of them. As a cold breeze flew through them, not a single one of the Legionnaires shivered or reacted. Showing almost no signs of life. The Legionnaires patiently waited, waiting for the Inquisition to land so they could engage. However, they are caught off guard. As three swirling golden portals appear on the beach in front of them, and the Armies of the Inquisition march out of the portals in full force. From left to right. Noxious marches out and behind him are the Demon Zealots, who were holding onto black halberds similar to the design of Blackfire. Followed up by Noxious and the Demon Zealots, Messiah leading his Wolves marched out of the middle portal. The Wolves weren't organized with their weapons, as some of them had swords while others had axes. Finally, all the way on the right is Archer, Lady Diane, and Jingks walking out of their portal followed up by the New Dawn. Seeing the Armies of the Inquisition, immediately the Legionnaires of the Legion of Death charged forward with everything they had. Even though they were completely outnumbered, none of the Legionnaires hesitated. When the Demon Zealots saw the Legionnaires charging forward, the Zealots held out their free hands and immediately sent bursts of black flames with red tips straight for the Legionnaires, setting the charging soldiers ablaze in intense black flames. At the same time Noxious used Daemonic Curse, and as red glowing horns emerged through his helmet Noxious leapt forward and crushed a Legionnaire as he landed. Followed up by Demon Zealots charging past him, brutally slaughtering the Legionnaires around him. Whether if it would be from jabbing their Halberds into their necks, penetrating their chests, or by gouging out their eyes. The Demon Zealots showed no mercy, as they slaughtered the Legionnaires. As a Legionnaire was able to break through and run past the Demon Zealots towards him, Noxious planted Blackfire into the ground and immediately caused black fire with red tips to burst out in a radius from around him. While some of the Demon Zealots touched the black fire, they were completely unaffected, while the Legionnaires had their armor being melted down while they were wearing it. Noxious then held out his left hand, and behind him twenty red swirling vortexes from his spell, the Red Spears of Death appeared. The tip of red glowing spears emerging from the vortexes, immediately flew out like bullets at the Legionnaires, with no lack of precision as the spears flew through their bodies. Flying through their chests, their hearts, and their heads. Legionnaires fell over in the masses, as they were unable to fight back. One by one the Demon Zealots and their Demon King, made the Legionnaires look silly for even putting up a fight. The Legionnaires were the children, and the Demons were the Harbingers of Death. In the middle of the field, the Wolves and their Wolf King were engaged in fighting. Messiah as he charged forward with his Wolves behind him, pulled out Duumholt and immediately punches one of the Legionnaires who charged at him to the ground, followed up by Duumholt crashing down onto his chest plate, the blade of Duumholt penetrating into the stomach of the Legionnaire, and instantly killing him as the stomach erupted. At the same time, Messiah's Wolves brutally slaughtered the Legionnaires around him, as some of them with their axes repeatedly hitting and hitting the Legionnaires they were fighting. Causing black blood to fly out each time they hit the Legionnaires, as their axes cut through the Legionnaires armor as if they were thin paper. Messiah then watches as a Legionnaire charges straight for him, and as he gets close Messiah grabs the Legionnaire by his neck. Breaking his neck instantly, Messiah proceeded to toss his body at a different Legionnaire, as he proceeded to slash at the neck of a Legionnaire who charged at him from his blindside. Two more Legionnaires charge for Messiah, but they are dealt with quickly as two Wolves come from out of the crowd of fighting, and immediately slash their swords at the Legionnaires, and as the swords become a burden, they bashed the heads of the Legionnaires with their fists, until the Legionnaires were nothing but tiny bits of flesh floating in pools of blood. Messiah looks to his right quickly, and watches as a Legionnaire swings his sword at him. In response, Messiah uses Duumholt and has the golden blade of Duumhot meet the black blade of the Legionnaire's sword, and immediately Duumholt breaks the sword into half without hesitation, which is followed up by Messiah grabbing the Legionnaire by his throat and holding him in the sky. Messiah laughs as he proceeds to speak to the Legionnaire.
