As the covered carriage rolled down a valley road, both of the Inquisitors inside were dead silent. Even as the carriage started to get bumpy, with crates and barrels rolling by them, the two Inquisitors maintained their silence. The two of them sitting on opposite sides of each other, both of them wearing white cloaks over their armor, with the hoods up over their heads. It was gloomy inside the carriage, the events from weeks prior had ruined the atmosphere that the Inquisition had developed. The events of Frostaria, including the Lord Inquisitor, Grand Wizard, and the Wolf King's defeat at the hands of Tiberius, the Supreme Grandmaster of the Legion of Death. Not only that, but the kidnapping of Mordred, who is considered part of the Inquisition family had destroyed the atmosphere around the Inquisitors. Even though the Inquisition was successful in stopping the Legion of Death from conquering Frostaria, they ultimately lost because of the defeats taken. While Jingks was looking at Archer, Archer himself has his hands interlocked with each other as he looks at the floor of the carriage. Archer was in his thoughts, thinking about everything that had happened up to that point. He has a flashback of when he was back at the docks where Mordred's ship sailed away from.

"There isn't any fucking hope... she's gone... she's fucking gone. There isn't any fucking ships near us, no ships that we can use to get to wherever the fuck High Garden is in time."

Jingks sighs as he shakes his head.

"Archer, you must've forgotten then..."

"Forgotten what?"

"Forgotten that we're the damn Inquisition, the Inquisitors who had been tested by fire

and have withstood everything thrown at us. We've accomplished what was seemingly impossible. Defeating Captain Cassius in a duel, defeating the Great Burning Minotaur, killing Lord Sparrow, and destroying the Legion of Death. Not only that, but we've managed to save Frostaria from the Legion of Death, who outnumbered us greatly. We've managed to save an entire people from the doom that would've came to them if we weren't there. Archer, Lady Diane is gone at this moment, her ship is sailing far away from us. But don't be deterred. The history of the Inquisition shows a clear and fine truth. The Inquisition will not fail, the Inquisition will not falter, if we put everything that we have to accomplish what needs to be accomplished. Archer, as long as you don't give up hope and faith in the Inquisition, I promise we can bring Lady Diane back to you."

Archer's flashback changes. He then remembers Jingks opening a door into a room at the Governor's Palace in Aria. He sees a table in front of the two of them, and he watches as Paladin, with his arms crossed turns around to look at the two of them with Lady Athena standing next to him. Archer was again looking at the floor, but he could see the look in Paladin's eye as clear as day. Paladin had the look of anger in his eyes, with a tint of wrath that he was prepared to give to those who have hurt his family.

"Paladin, I'm glad to see that you've awaken. It has been too long... since the last time you were awake... too long since we've spoken."

"Likewise Jingks. But, I wish I was awoken on better circumstances and not for the reasons why I was awoken from my slumber."

"I understand Paladin. But, I must ask. Has Alexon or Messiah awoken?"

Paladin shakes his head.

"No Jingks, neither Alexon nor Messiah have awaken from their slumber. I should say this as well, it will be awhile before the two of them wake up.."

Jingks sighs as he heard what Paladin said. He proceeds to shake his head.

"That is a shame Paladin, I was hoping to hear some good news that would've hopefully had been the two of them waking up. I wish the two of them were with us right now."
