Inside the Dragon Temple, the temple walls and the ground started to furiously shake. Paladin feels the shaking, and he turns around to look at the door to the room.
"They are fighting outside."
Paladin turned back around, and he looked up at Orion.
"Who is fighting?"
"Grandmasters from the Legion of Death have arrived, and they are here for you, Messiah, and Alexon. From what it seems, they have struck first."
"The Legion of Death is here?" Paladin spoke with a surprised as he crossed his arms and then proceeded to sigh. "No matter where we go, there is no break from fighting."
"Indeed Paladin, I would start getting used to it as well. But, if you want more of your questions to be answered, with the two other Inquisitors still living when you return to them, then you better start asking questions."
"Very well--" Paladin then uncrossed his arms. "What does the future hold for me? You mentioned before that Nothing is what it seems, Tragedy, and Heartbreak is what the future holds for me."
"Indeed," Orion replied as he nodded his head. "While part of the near future has been revealed to you, there is still more yet to be revealed. Tragedy, and Heartbreak still await. That future has been set in stone, events that lead to Tragedy and Heartbreak cannot be avoided now," Orion explained.
"Explain to me why that future is set in stone, and explain to me the events that lead to them being set in stone?" Paladin asked as he crossed his arms.
"I cannot--" Orion spoke as he shook his head.
"And why not?"
"If I was to tell you the events that lead to your future being set in stone, then you would be able to figure out the events that happen in the future. If you were able to figure that out, then the desirable future would be changed."
"How is a future with Tragedy and Heartbreak desirable? That doesn't make any sense to me," Paladin explained.
"The future ahead of you is not desirable for you specifically, but it is desirable for those who want to see the world thrive. Not only that, but you should always remind yourself Paladin. The future choose you, and then you choose that future."
"So you're telling me, because of what I've done so far...I choose a future of Tragedy and Heartbreak without knowing it," Paladin then proceeded to sigh. "Well then. Answer me this, what were the visions back in the Capital City about Orion?"
"What are you wanting to know about them?" Orion asked.
"Who were the people in those visions, and what were they doing?" Paladin asked.
Orion shook his head. Like the other things Paladin asked, he couldn't answer the questions for the sake of the future.
"I cannot answer those questions Paladin. For if I was to tell you who those people were in those visions, then the future would be revealed to you. However, you will know who those people are in the near future," Orion answered.
Paladin sighed disappointingly and he shook his head.
I feel as if I'm wasting my time at the current moment. Orion isn't going to answer any of my questions about the future, and he refuses to reveal any information around the near future. This is very disappointing, but it is what it is I guess. I'm not going to give up asking questions concerning the future, since it is better to try something than nothing. But, I don't have expectations about him answering them.
"Do you have any more questions, Paladin?"
"I do Orion."
"Then go ahead and ask them."
