Paladin looked on at Evilyne, who finally calmed herself from what Aerro did to her. He squinted his eyes for a few moments, tapping his left hand's index finger on his lip as he thought he met her from somewhere. It then clicked.
"You were a clerk for the Dungeon Tower, in the Capital City."
Evilyne wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. She then gleefully nodded at Paladin.
"Yes...I was a very good clerk too! But, we may have seen each other before then as well! I've been to a lot of places Paladin."
Paladin nodded his head.
"I see. So why are you with the Legion of Death? That's a drastic change from what you were doing in the Capital City."
Evilyne smirked, then she nodded her head.
"I've been with the Legion of Death for many years now. Only working for them, before I became involved in--" Evilyne turned to look at Carbon and Aerro, biting her lower lip as she thought about what they would all do together later. "This love triangle that I indulge in."
"So you abandoned the Dungeon clerks for the Legion of Death?"
Evilyne shook her head, as Paladin misunderstood her.
"No. I've been with the Legion of Death before the clerks. I only became a clerk, after I was working on behalf of the Legion of Death, for one of the major Royal Houses in the Capital City."
Alexon placed his free hand on the bottom of his chin, as she mentioned she worked for a major Royal House.
"Which of the major Royal Houses did you work for?"
"Ohhh...Paladin..." Evilyne chuckled. "I'll never reveal that sort of information to you, nor will I ever give you a hint of what Royal House I worked with--"
"Figures--"
"But Paladin. I am actively working against the Kingdom of Orion, against King Sewell the Fourth, and especially against your...wannabe valiant Inquisition."
Paladin crossed his arms and he shook his head.
"Doesn't matter. The Inquisition will root out you and the Royal House that you have been working for. Now that you've revealed you're working for a major House, it won't be hard to find you."
Evilyne tilted her head back and laughed. Finding what Paladin said amusing.
"Didn't you just watch? I can change my physical appearance, and make myself unrecognizable to the masses, which includes you. You'll never find me in the Capital City, no matter how hard you try."
"Then I'll just have to kill you in this valley--"
"You will try..."
Paladin then turned to look at both Aerro and Carbon.
"I'll express it again. I'm disappointed to see the two of you working with the Legion of Death, the wrong side."
Carbon shook her head as she took a few steps forward.
"I'm disappointed with you Paladin--"
"So the feeling is mutual--"
"Not only are you working for the wrong side, but you have had a part to play in the creation of the wrong side! You founded the Inquisition, and built the Inquisition from the ground up. Just for your goal of causing the destruction of Humanity!"
Paladin squinted his eyes and tilted his head, he was caught off guard.
"Bold claim to say that I'm going to destroy Humanity, when the Legion of Death's entire goal is to destroy Humanity, so Lucifer can build a world ruled by Elves.
