As the sun went down the Royal Flower Ball began. Carriages upon carriages of various colors, some more distinguished than others, rolled up the Royal Gallery which was on a hill overlooking the Capital City. The Royal Gallery was brightly lit up by various tall lamp posts placed around the courtyards, next to stone statues of various animals, symbol of Royal Houses, or historically respected Royal Lords and Ladies. The courtyards were filled with walls of bushes and flowers, flowers that were of many colors. Blue, Pink, Green, and many more. People dressed in formal attire were huddled up next to the Royal Gallery, which was a large white building with designs similar to a Victorian Era manor, and the Lords and Ladies were huddled up all over the courtyards. Not a single place of silence could be found at the Royal Gallery that evening, as everyone was excited for the Royal Flower Ball. Lady Saber, sitting patiently in her white carriage watched as her carriage rolled up to the sidewalk near the Royal Gallery, and when it came to a complete stop a servant walked over and opened the door for her. When she exited the carriage, the first person waiting for her was Lord Demeter, who held out his right hand.
"Lady Saber."
"Lord Demeter."
Lady Saber was wearing a white suit jacket with white lapels and red trimming, and under her suit jacket she was wearing a red buttoned up shirt. For her skirt, she was wearing a red skirt with white tights, and she was wearing red shoes on her feet. She was wearing her golden chain around her neck, with the chained up symbol of House Saber attached. Lord Demeter on the other hand was wearing his same old outfit, not changing a single thing from before. He looked around her, and he placed his right hand on the bottom of his chin.
"Lady Saber, you didn't bring anybody with you?"
Lady Saber shook her head.
"Lord Demeter, I did not bring anybody with me. I thought about inviting someone to come along with me, but I assumed that he was busy as he always is."
Lord Demeter nodded his head as he took his right hand off his chin.
"Ah, well that is a shame Lady Saber. How was your journey to come back into the Capital City?'
"It was the same old journey as before Lord Demeter, nothing new, nothing different. Which is a good thing, depending on the perspective."
"Indeed it is Lady Saber. Are you planning on spending the night in the Capital City?"
"That I am. I'm staying at House Saber's apartment in the Capital City. An apartment that is typically used for delegates I send over. Enough about me however. Lord Demeter, did you bring anyone along with you?"
"Yes I did." Lord Demeter nodded his head as he spoke. "I brought along with me a guest, a female member of House Demeter. I thought it would be a kind gesture to invite her, seeing that she has never been in the Capital City before."
"That was a kind gesture Lord Demeter--"
"Thank you--"
"I'm glad to see you moving on from the terrible event that happened to you and your House. Even though you aren't moving on in the way many would hope, it is good to see that you are moving on in other ways. I'm glad to see it."
Lord Demeter sighed deeply before he slightly nodded his head.
"I'll never be able to truly move on, never ever. Not only will I never be able to move on, but I will never try to move on. I will always remember her for who she was, the lovely and the intoxicating person she was. I'll never move on, I'll never forget her. No one will ever be able to substitute her."
"And you never should you Lord Demeter. She was truly a very special person, and had a one of a kind personality. Not a single person within the Kingdom hated her, everyone loved her and everyone was envious of what you were to her."
