-a week later-
Almost a year ago I met a guy. This guy seemed interesting. I started to see this guy more often.
A couple of months ago I started to call this guy my friend. Maybe started to fall in love.
A week ago is when I came home. The guy is now my boyfriend. Kissed, said boyfriend.
Today I am eighteen. But, am I ready? Ready for the "fun" I can have? Okay, but really, age consent is eighteen and maybe...
"Nope, no, no, no," I say out loud while I jump out of bed. While I put on a clean shirt on I hear a knock on my door. "Come in." as my door slowly opens.
"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to y/n. Happy birthday to you." My parents and siblings sing. "Feliz cumpleaños, amor," My dad says while he kisses my forehead. "Gracias, de verdad, pero no quiero una gran fiesta. ¿Mamá? Sólo quiero que seamos nosotros y Robin." I say while grabbing my shoes from under my bed. "Well then, I should tell you that he's here then. He said he was picking you up?" Alex says while starting to walk away from my room. "Wait, Robin is here?" I say while quickly going past my parents.
Robin looks up at me. I went downstairs and kissed him. "Happy birthday." He says while handing me flowers he was hiding behind his back. They're sunflowers, he remembered that I hate roses. I think they're cliche "So, are you ready? I kinda want to take you somewhere." Robin says as he pulls out keys from his pocket. "No way, you got a car?" I say while we walk out the door. "Yeah, crazy right? I have to stop at my house first. Is that fine with you?" "Yeah of course," I say as I put my seatbelt on.
We are finally at his house and I wait in the car texting Amber out of boredom. "Can I ask you something?" Robin asked while sitting down. "Yeah?" I answer "Do you want your gift now or later?" He asked with a smile. "Later," I said with a giggle. Then Robin looked at me with his pure brown eyes that always makes me blush.
I gave him a kiss before he can look away. "Thank you, Robin. Really. You didn't have to get me a gift." I said as he started his car. "I wanted to. It's your birthday." Robin says as he held my hand and kissed it. While still holding my hand, he started to drive the car away from his house.
It was almost one in the afternoon when I remember falling asleep. When I woke up I noticed we were in the yellow-flowered field. The lake was starting to have a bit of frost since it was getting close to winter. Robin was setting a blanket and a picnic basket up when I notice that a car was parked next to us. Then the girl from the cafe was getting out of the parked car. I think her name was Chloe? I'm unsure.
I get up and head towards Robin. It's cold and I can feel goosebumps on my skin. Then I hug his waist. "Hey, Bun. Who is she?" I ask. "I wanted you to meet my friends, more are coming but I've talked a lot about you, so don't be surprised that they know about you," Robin whispers in my ear. He just made me have even more goosebumps on my arm. He noticed the goosebumps and took off his jacket and tossed it over my shoulder so it can cover me.
Then the girl, who I think is named Chloe comes over from her car. "No, way. This is y/n? I already met her." She said while giving Robin a big hug and then while she hugs me, I say "Chloe right? Yeah, I remember you." "Great, that means you guys can hang here for a while then? I need to go pick Oyster and Turtle." Robin asks while I and Chloe sit down. "Yes, we are perfectly fine. Do you know how Simi is getting here?" Chloe asks. I just silently sit there because I have no idea who these people are. "I think she's with Tom. I'll text you when I am on my way back." Robin says as he leans in for a kiss. I kiss him back and then turn towards Chloe.
