I grinned as I slumped myself to the wooden floor feelin my sweat dripping down to my entire exhausted body.
Damn that new choreography.
Chaeyoung and Jennie are still after their breaths as the choreographer announced the practice is over while Jisoo is laying by my side. We hadn't even perfect it yet but the routines are all new to us given that we practiced for a three hour straight only having a break if we want to drink water or to use the comfort room.
This is for our soon first quarter comeback for next year. And it's not just that. We'll be having a second quarter comeback with another full length album. YG ent. is slowly making everything they planned for us to come true. We are thankful though.
"Have you heard the news? We're participating to MAMA next year."
"We're going?" Jisoo unnie voice out as Jennie nodded.
"Next year's MAMA award show will be it. They prepared a lot for it. Though it's expected to be the biggest award show to happen, big artists will be there too. And YG already confirmed our participation. Even ikon and winner will be there."
"Tssssk. There's always a beef to our company and to that show, I'm amaze YG agreed."
"Even SM will be there unnie. It's also been long since they go to that award show after years of not participating to it." Chaeyoung added.
Our small talk regardless to it got interrupted when Jennie was called by her mom. Chaeyoung also said she'll not sleep in dorm. Though as for these day, none of us really stayed in our dorm that much.
Jennie's going home to her parents, same as to Chaeyoung too. I mostly stay in my unit. Jisoo unnie has other plans whenever we're not around the dorm. Coz one time, I literally caught Seulgi hiding behind the door when I got back early morning to grab some clothes.
I just didn't question it since they're mature enough to know what they're doing. I'm just hoping they won't be caught, though Jisoo seems open to what they have. Maybe even Chaeyoung and Jennie knew it but decided to just shut their mouth. Same as to me. They're too obvious anyway.
I slid my duffle bag to my shoulder when Chaeyoung pointed my phone on the floor. I forgot it fell earlier but I hadn't picked it up coz the trainer was too strict for our liking.
As I open to check on it, there's actually tons of messages in it. Mainly from the love of my life.
J💛: are you free?
J💛: baby? My parents wants to have dinner with you.
J💛: I'm so sorry for this is so sudden. But they're expecting to see you tonight.
J💛: leave a message if you read this, please.
J💛: I'm so sorry.
As to read the word parents, my world flips upside down already. It's like the time stops, the world stops, everything just stops.
And suddenly it's just hard to read further words. It's hard to type a reply. I mentioned to her that I already talked about her to my parents. But that doesn't mean that she have to do the same. This is so sudden and unexpected. Joohyun and I never talked about this phase yet. The phase where 'meet the parents thingy' happens coz I swear to god, my soul just drifted to my body.
Like how can I even face them?
"You alright Lis? You look like you poop in your pants." Chaeyoung joked and I just couldn't find myself to laugh.
