Chapter Five: Capture and Interrogation

Two days later (Y/N) Pov

Everything is in place to lure Ruby into a trap. Before entering the throne room I look to my right seeing the creation that took two days to get right. A copy of Summer Rose, drawn to almost perfect detail, the perfect object to get Ruby right were I want her.
(Y/N): "Wait here until I call for you. Understood?"
Summer nods and stands off to the side. I open the grand doors an enter the room. Everyone is inside waiting on me. I approach Wilfre's throne with a smile. I turn to Emerald and Mercury, who had failed their task. I intend to make them regret not taking the job seriously.
(Y/N): "So Emerald, Mercury...where is the photo of Ruby's mother I requested?"
Mercury: "We never had a chance to get a photo."
(Y/N): "Really? Because when I took a walk in Vale two days ago I ran into Ruby and she had a photo of her mother with her and she dropped it when she bumped into me."
Emerald: "Why did you even want the stupid picture anyway?"
I walk over to Emerald and grip her by the shoulders. She suddenly looks very nervous as I force her to look up at me.
(Y/N): "Apparently, you still don't realize what I can use the Book of Life for. Summer, enter the room."
I release Emerald and look as Summer enters the room. And stands at attention.
(Y/N): "As you can all see, I've made a copy of Summer Rose in order to lure Ruby into a trap. Then the next part will be to smuggle in a copy of Ruby to take the originals place."
Mercury: "Woah...you weren't kidding when you said the book could make anything..."
(Y/N): "Yes, now I must set the plan in motion. Summer you know what to do."
Summer leaves the room and I start to set my plan up.

Two hours later-Beacon-Ruby Pov

Ruby: "Hey (Y/N)...its been awhile. Sorry for not visiting more I've just been busy with the academy. How has Ami been treating you? She comes by whenever she has free time."
I start feeling tears slip down my face as I talk to (Y/N)'s grave. I start to kneel on the ground and read the inscription on the grave.
Ruby: "(Y/N) (L/N), an honorable man who was selfless to the very end. Deserved better than what he got."
I sit in front of the grave and take in the surroundings, it has always been so peaceful near this spot. Then I hear footsteps behind me. I get up and into a fighting stance.
Ruby: "Who's there!?"
I look around the area and see nothing.  Then I see...mom!
Ruby: "Mom! Is that you!"
Mom starts to run away from me and into the forest. I chase after her, I can't let my mom disappear again. I chase her though the Emerald forest. I see her jump through a portal and I follow after her.

Wilfre's Castle

I end in the courtyard of a castle. I look around and see members of White Fang surrounding me with weapons drawn. A cloaked individual approached me. It was the man from yesterday.
???: "Welcome to Castle Wilfre. You are now my prisoner."
Ruby: "But...but my mom-"
???: "Merely a copy. From this photograph."
The figure hands me a photo of my mom. The one I lost yesterday. Two White Fang members grab me and start dragging me somewhere.

Dungeon-3rd Pov

(Y/N): "Is she ready for a visiter?"
Guard: "Yeah she's all tied up and stuff."
(Y/N): "Alright this won't take long."
(Y/N) enters the cell where Ruby is chained to the wall. She looks up and sees (Y/N), but she doesn't know that, her eyes are filled with fear. (Y/N) smiles and approaches Ruby.
(Y/N): "I bet your wondering why I brought you here."
Ruby: "Y-yeah..."
(Y/N): "First allow me to introduce myself. My name is Salem and I have a bone to pick with you and all of Beacon Academy."
Ruby: "What did we ever do to you?"
(Y/N): "I wouldn't be worried about what you did to me. I would be worried about what I can do to you."
(Y/N) unchains Ruby from the wall only to chain Ruby to a chair in the room. (Y/N) starts walking around Ruby.
(Y/N): "I could torture you in various ways. I could break physically and mentally. Maybe make you watch me kill someone you care about."
(Y/N) approaches Ruby and crouches down in front of her. Making her look up at him.
(Y/N): "Or perhaps I could use you for my physical pleasure."
As he says this (Y/N) uses his free hand to feel up Ruby's body making her wince in discomfort. Then (Y/N) places both hands on Ruby's throat and starts tightens his grip.
(Y/N): "Or I could strangle the life out of you as I watch your silver eyes turn grey."
(Y/N) continues to tighten his grip on Ruby's throat, tears falling from her eyes as she struggles to breath. Then (Y/N) releases her throat and Ruby starts to take in big gulps of air.
(Y/N): "But I want you alive and somewhat unharmed. So you can see what I will accomplish. Besides you might make a good bargaining chip."
Ruby: "P-people...will notice...I'm missing. They'll...they'll find me."
(Y/N): "I don't think so. Like how I made a copy of your mother I made a copy of you and I had it snuck back into Beacon. It will distract them for a while. Just accept the fact that you will be here for a while. But don't worry, not much harm will come to you. Also I may be back later so be ready for that."
(Y/N) chuckles and leaves Ruby in the cell chained up. He goes back to report to Wilfre.

Throne Room

Wilfre: "Hmm..."
(Y/N): "Is something the matter Wilfre?"
Wilfre: "That clone of Summer...show me the photo you drew her from."
(Y/N) hands Wilfre the photo (Y/N) had taken from Ruby, he took it back after showing Ruby, and Wilfre looked the photo over. Wilfre's eyes go wide.
(Y/N): "What is it!"
Wilfre: "This woman had one of the gems I'm looking for. We must find out where she lived so we can search through the house to find the gem."
(Y/N): "Well, I think I know exactly who to ask..."

Prison Cells-Ruby Pov

Why does that man...Salem hate Beacon so much? Did he used to go to Beacon...when. Does he hate me cause I go to Beacon. The cell door opens and Salem steps into the cell and he closes the door behind him.
Salem: "Remember how I said you would come to minimum harm? Well I forgot to say that it only applies if you cooperate. Now tell me where did you live before Beacon."
I don't reply...I'm not telling this man where I live. I hear him sigh and he approaches closer. He forces me to look up at him.
Salem: "Now look here girl. You can either be nice and tell me where you live out of the kindness of your heart. Or I could make you tell me after I convince you to tell me. What will it be?"
I remain silent...then I feel a stinging pain on my left check as my head goes off to the right. Salem had smacked me in the face. He then takes my chains off from the chair and throws me on the ground.
Salem: "We are going to play a little game here bitch. I've heard from workers down here that it gets very cold in the dungeon. So heres how this is gonna work. When I ask you to tell me where you live and you don't tell me, I will remove a piece of clothing that you are wearing. And we will continue until you tell me where you live or until your naked, got it."
I stay silent but I grow nervous. Will he actually do that? My fears are confirmed when he removes one of my shoes and throws in in a corner.
Salem: "Do you understand?"
Ruby: "I...do..."
Salem: "Good...now tell me where do you live."
Ruby: "I...I can't tell you."
Salem removes my other shoe.
Salem: "Where do you live"
Ruby: "Somewhere..."
He removes my hood.
Salem: "Where...do you...live."
Ruby: "I don't want to tell you..."
He removes my blazer overcoat.
Salem: "The less you cooperate the less clothing you'll have to keep warm at night. Now tell me, where do you live."
Ruby: "Please stop asking! I won't tell you!"
He sighs and removes my blazer shirt, leaving me in my bra. He looks me over then shakes his head
Salem: "Tell me...now."
Ruby: "NO!!!"
Salem yanks my stockings and leggings off, leaving me in my underwear. I look to see the frustration on his face.
Salem: "I will ask you one more time...where do you live."
Ruby: "I-I won't tell you..."
Salem then moves closer to remove my bra, I give in.
Ruby: "Patch! I live in Patch!"
Salem stops and looks at me.
Salem: "Your not lying now are you?"
Ruby: "I promise you. I'm not lying."
Salem seems satisfied with his answer and gathers up my clothing and starts to leave.
Ruby: "Wait! Your just gonna leave me in my underwear!"
Salem: "Yes, don't be surprised. I said the more you resist the less clothing you would have to protect against the cold."
Salem closes the cell door...at least he left me unchained.

(Y/N)'s room-His Pov

I enter my room after leaving Ruby's clothes with the guard. I sigh and prepare to remove my mask until I hear someone knocking on my door. I go and open the door and see Emerald.
Emerald: "Hi..."
(Y/N): "What is it?"
Emerald: "I have some questions about the book."
(Y/N): "Alright."
Emerald: "When did you discover that your semblance was to bring whatever you drew to life?"
I bak at this, they think my semblance is why I can bring my drawings to life. I prepare to correct her but realize something. If they knew that it was just the book itself that brought the drawings to life then they would try to steal it from me. I decide to go along with it.
(Y/N): "Yes...that is correct."
Emerald: "So if I drew something in the book it wouldn't work right?"
(Y/N): "Yes."
Emerald: "One more thing."
Emerald is interrupted when a baki bumped into her. Her eyes light up.
Emerald: "What is this thing?"
(Y/N): "Its a baki."
Emerald: "Can I have it?"
(Y/N): "You'll find them all over the place so-"
Emerald: "There's more!"
(Y/N): "Yes-"
Emerald picks the baki up and runs off with it. I shake my head and close my door and jump when I see Neo behind it.
(Y/N): "...I'm not gonna question it."
Neo just hops into my bed and looks at me. I sigh and remove my mask and just get into the bed with her and drift off to sleep.
