Chapter Twenty: Train Troubles

(Y/N) Pov

(Y/N): "Now isn't this relaxing."
Winter: "No."
(Y/N): "Oh come on! I had to pay a lot for us to get one train car to ourselves."
I gesture around to the entire area. Out the windows of the train I see the  landscape shift constantly. Winter continues to have an unamused look. I frown and sit back down in my seat. I look to Emerald who continues to keep her gun aimed at Winter. I sigh and think about what happened in the warehouse. Someone named Trever put a bounty on my head...he must have only sent it to the criminal underworld. After all, none of the station workers seemed to bat an eye at me. I start to get up, Emerald looks at me.
Emerald: "Where are you going?"
(Y/N): "I'm going to grab something to eat. Anyone want anything?"
Winter: "No thanks."
Emerald: "Nah, I'm good."
(Y/N): "Alright."
I start to make my way to the dinning car. I have to pass through two passenger cars before I reach the dinning car. I open the door to the first one and make my way in. I pass by many people giving me annoyed glances, which makes sense as I bought an entire passenger car for my own use. As I'm about to make my way to the next car, I hear some people whisper.
???: "There he is..."
???2: "Wait...there will be a better moment."
I quickly go through the door and start to walk quickly through the next car. Just as I'm about to get to the dinning car someone grabs my arm and I feel something pressed into my back. I turn my head to see a blond haired man with brown eyes meeting my stare. I hear something click and understand that he has a gun pressed at my back. He presses the gun against my back harder and I understand that he wants me to move. I start to move in the direction he seems to want me to go in. He takes me past the dinning car and past two more passenger cars. Until we reach the final car, the luggage car. The man gestures at me to walk forward. I smirk and walk forward preparing to draw my own firearm, until I feel someone else grab me. I look and see...the man from my dream...the man in the gold mask. He takes my mask off I hear him chuckle.
Gold: "Hello! Good to see you again mister (L/N).
(Y/N): "How do you know my last name..."
Gold: "Oh don't pretend you don't know me. I saw some of the expression on your face. You remember me and probably my brother over there."
I look over to his apparent brother and take a better look at him. He was wearing a train conductor's uniform along with a blue scarf and was standing next to the door. It clicks with me, he was the one who had grabbed me when I was picking pockets with Emerald all those years ago. I look back over to the man in the gold mask and see that two other men were now standing behind him.
Gold: "Now we can do this in two ways, you give us your very special item and come with us. Or...you refuse and we kill you and take it anyway. What will you chose?"
I look at the two men, they look to only have revolvers. I look back to the mans brother and see that he looks very uninterested in what was going on. Acting as quickly as I can I punch the man in the gold mask in the face, grab my mask and push him towards the men behind him. I run back to the passenger car attached to the luggage car pushing the man's brother to the side. And as I'm crossing I detach the car from the rest of the train. I watch as the luggage car falls behind from the rest of the train. I affix my mask back to my face and make my way back to my personal passenger car.

I arrive back and see that Winter and Emerald were just staring at each other. Emerald turns to me as I sit next to Winter.
Emerald: "Your back. Wait...wheres your food?"
(Y/N): "They didn't have anything I wanted."
I grab Winter's face and turn it towards me.
(Y/N): "Let's have a serious talk."
Winter: "Why are you doing this?"
(Y/N): "Your sister has wronged me, her friends have wronged me and the institution she is apart of has wronged me. This is all just an elaborate revenge on those who have wronged me."
Winter: "So your insane."
(Y/N): "Excuse me?"
Winter: "Your insane if you think that any of what happened to you gives you any right to destroy Beacon."
(Y/N): "Well I don't think I'm insane. After all, do you think any insane person could have defeated the queen of the grimm? Do you think an insane person could have used that as leverage to force Raven and her bandit tribe to join me?"
Winter looks at me in the eyes.
Winter: "Your plan will fail and you will be executed for your crimes."
(Y/N): "We'll see..."
The door to the car bursts open and three figures enter. I stand and draw my gun and prepare to fire. I stop however when I see who it is. It was Coco, Fox and Yatsuhashi.
Coco: "We've got you Salem, surrender now!"
I decide to test something with Coco.
(Y/N): "Why do you care about capturing me?"
Coco: "You were responsible for killing my friend!"
I put a hand to my chin as if I had to think on that.
(Y/N): "Who is that?"
Coco: "His name was (Y/N) and you killed him!"
I chuckle for a bit and look at Emerald. She smiles a bit and winks.I look back to Coco and the rest of her team.
(Y/N): "Well what if I were to tell you-"
Thump, thump, thump.
I stop what I was saying when I hear the thumping. Is someone walking on top of the train. Everyone looks around confused until the thumping stops. In an instant something crashes through the window and hits me in the chest and both of us crash through the other window and tumble away from the train. The last thing I hear is screaming.

When we stop tumbling I stand up and look over at the body. It starts to get up and I see that it was that man's brother.
(Y/N): "How did you get back on the train..."
The man only takes out a length if rope with a hook on it. He throws it at me but he misses, or at least until he pulls back on the rope and the hook catches me by the leg and it trips me over. Then before I can get up the man leaps on top of me and pins me to the ground. He starts to search throughout my cloak. He pulls out my book and I grow worried, until he throws the book behind him. He continues to search my cloak and I struggle to get up. He pulls out my dagger and starts to look it over.
(Y/N): "My dagger is all you guys want!?"
The man looks at me and brings the dagger close to my face and shows me the sides of the blade. I don't really get what he is showing me. He pauses and  takes out a blade of his own and scrapes along one side he does this for a while. Once he's done he shows me the blade. My eyes widen, the scraping had revealed many lines that go from the tip of the blade throughout the blade in an intricate way.
(Y/N): "Who are you guys...?"
The man speaks in a strained and raspy voice, like it was difficult for him to speak.
???: "We are...travelers."
He puts his blade up to my throat. He stops and looks around. His eyes stop on some bird. He stands in top of me and pulls out his gun. I take this chance and grab him by the leg. I then roll over and it knocks him to the ground, I then wrestle my dagger out of his hands and start to walk over to my book.
???: "Wait..."
I stop and look back over at the man who starts to cough up blood.
???: "...If you keep...the dagger...you will be hunted...and don't underestimate us. We have the...ability to track you...down to your small castle."
(Y/N): "Who are you specifically?"
The man laughs a hollow laugh and coughs up more blood.
???: "Me? My name...is Fritz."
(Y/N): "You underestimate me."
I pick up my book, and freeze when I hear a shot sail above my head.
Fritz: "Better start running. Oh and beware...of the bird."
Another gunshot sounds and I start to run. I hear the footsteps of dozens. I'm all on my own, no one is here to help me...
