Chapter Eight: Diplomacy With Bandits

(Y/N) Pov

I wake up to something poking me and I look to see Neo with her arms crossed. I sit up a bit with Ruby still sleeping soundly on my chest.
(Y/N): "What?"
Neo then gets a mischievous smile and climbs into the bed and lays next to me. She then turns my face off to the side and plants a kiss the exposed part of my face. I turn my head back and see Neo still smiling. Then I feel my face be pulled off to the side again and I'm facing Ruby who was now awake. She also places a kiss on the exposed part of my face. I take a look at the now blushing Ruby.
Ruby: "I-I wanted a kiss too..."
(Y/N): "...I...uhhh."
I'm saved by knocking on my door. I hear Mercury's voice.
Mercury: "Hey Salem. Wilfre wants you to meet him on the grand balcony."
I sigh and get up and straighten my mask. I turn to the girls.
(Y/N): "Neo, make sure Ruby stays in the room okay?"
Neo nods and Ruby puts the covers back over herself and appears to go back to sleep. I exit my room and start on my way to the grand balcony.

45 minutes later

I arrive on the balcony and see Wilfre looking at his regular hand. I clear my throat and he turns to me. Wilfre smiles and waves me over. I stand by his side at near the railing. The moon hadn't fully set yet.
Wilfre: "Isn't it interesting? The moon of this world is fractured and broken yet it still works as it should. In my world when I destroyed the Book of Life, before I realized how useful it could be, the sun and moon disappeared and time stopped moving."
(Y/N): "You haven't told me a lot about your world. But that's for another time, why have you called me here."
Wilfre: "In my world I relied on powerful creatures. However they have all been killed by a hero created by the creator of my world. However I am confident that you can bring them back better than before...but you need more power."
(Y/N): "What do I need to do?"
Wilfre: "If you can bring me more gems I could give you more power. I know the location of three more gems."
Wilfre puts a map dien on the railing and marks three locations. One mark is in the western part of Anima, another in the Emerald forest. However the third mark wasn't present on the map...I look at Wilfre.
(Y/N): "I thought you said there were three gems?"
Wilfre: "There are...but the third isn't on this map...it is located elsewhere."
I think for a bit, then come to one conclusion.
(Y/N): "The queen of the grimm has it doesn't she."
Wilfre nods and starts to walk back inside. I stand there, not expecting to have to fight against Salem so soon...I decide to go for the gem in Anima first. It should be easy.

Anima-Ten hours later

It isn't going to be easy. The gem lies within a bandit camp. I look at the camp through binoculars and start planning my next move. I can't waste too much time, it took forever to find the exact location and Wilfre couldn't put me any closer. Then I notice something...the woman who was acting like the one in charge. She was the one in the photograph I saw at Tai's house...I have my plan of attack. I prepare a backup plan just in case.

Inside the bandit camp-Two hours later

I allow the bandits to capture and escort me to the leader. They aren't the best at their job as they failed to find my weapons...a clever move on my part. All I have to do is summon them from the book and I will be alright. They drop me onto the ground at the feet of their leader. I get up and bow to her. She looks at me confused...I smile in return.
(Y/N): "Hello there! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Salem and I have a deal for you."
The woman draws her sword and looks at me with anger...yet at the same time with fear as well. I continue.
(Y/N): "You see, I know you have a daughter. But unfortunately for you, your daughter has caused me a lot of problems and she will end up dead because of it. However you can fix that! You see you have something I want...a small insignificant gem. If you give me it I can guarantee that Yang will not die. Also everyone here gets to live...so its a win for everyone. What do you say?"
Before the leader could respond, another woman runs up.
Woman: "You dare threaten out Raven and the entire tribe? You must be very stupid if you think you can walk out of here alive."
All the bandits start to laugh at this however Raven remains calm yet a bit irritated. I join in the laughter which causes it to cease.
(Y/N): "You didn't think I would be stupid enough to let myself be captured without a backup plan."
Just then the walls come crashing down destroying building and crushing anyone who was near it. The being was Wilfre's pet, the scorpion. The pet walks over to my side and awaits further command. The bandits are fearful of the unfamiliar beast, I can see it on their faces however Raven and her little loyalist don't appear to be worried.
Raven: "This was you plan? To threaten me, my tribe and my daughter. You must be an idiot."
(Y/N): "I'm impressed! You don't appear to fear this beast like the rest of your tribe. Hmm maybe my threats will work on the queen of the grimm."
Raven: "What do you mean?"
(Y/N): "Well I'm just gonna make Salem either bow to me...or die. Either works for me and I can ambush her and take her down."
Raven: "If you can do that I will give you the gem."
(Y/N): "...Well I guess we have a deal then."
I hold my hand out and Raven grabs it and shakes it. A portal opens up for me and I walk through I waving goodbye to Raven's loyalist. I arrive in the throne room and relay the events back to Wilfre.
Wilfre: "Well if you are going to do that then you should get the gem in the Emerald forest first, then I can give you a little more power."
(Y/N): "Alright then, however I need some rest first. Being captured by bandits and preparing to destroy everything they have can be exhausting."
Wilfre nods and I take my leave and head to my room. I open the door  lock it then I put my book on the desk before I hear shuffling on the bed. I look over and see both Ruby and Neo on my bed...in their underwear. Ruby is a blushing mess while Neo just looks at me with a seductive smirk. I remove my overcoat and cross my arms.
(Y/N): "Is this going to become a regular thing?"
Ruby: "Well remember how you saved me from the guard?"
(Y/N): "It happened two days ago."
Ruby: "I-I've been thinking...and I wouldn't mind if you did something like that to me..."
I look to Neo and she held up a sign. I read it out loud.
(Y/N): "When we first met I had feelings for you but couldn't act on them. But now I'm afraid of actually loosing you so I wanted you to know how I feel. And don't worry I don't mind sharing."
I put a hand to my head and exhale...I look back at the girls.
(Y/N): "Well...I guess this is going to be a regular thing."
I climb in between the both of them and they both instantly cling to both sides of me. I just close my eyes and go to sleep feeling...weird.
