Chapter Fifteen whoo whoo! Sorry I'm very excited for this chapter, I hope you like it <3 Above would be Murray's aesthetic, let me know who you'd imagine him as and anyone else. Also, I kind of feel like I'm changing my mind a lot. This is my first real book and I'm just trying to figure things out as I go along. Once I finish it I'll probably go back and fix any major things I don't like, but please just hang in there <3
Have an excellent read.

He drove off, leaving me alone in front of the school's front door. I couldn't remember the last time I was so mad. A freaking brick was thrown through his back window! It could have hit him! Or me I guess. And Carter Landon drove off without as much as an explanation.
I stormed inside, my painting slung underneath my arm. Rym was grabbing her books and was about to rush off before she saw me.
"Oh hey!" she said breathlessly, trying to balance her books. "We're going to be late come on."
"I'm going to walk by myself," I huffed, walking past my sister roughly.
"But-"
That was all I heard before she was out of earshot and I made it to my class. I sat down in my seat and tried to pay attention, it was hard. I couldn't stop thinking about the brick that almost collided with my head, and the boy who kept messing with my head.
It didn't make sense, who would deliberately throw a brick through Carter Landon's car window? That sort of thing didn't happen on accident. Now Carter wasn't even here. Maybe his life was just as dramatic as mine, if not more. He said his Mom died, and something about his Dad not being around much.
My head hurt.
"Miss Easton?"
Ohhhhh great.
"Am I boring you?"
My head snapped up and I sucked in a breath. "N-no Miss Hammond."
"Good, now why don't you show us what you've painted?"
I swallowed and nodded quickly. "S-sure."
I held up my painting so everyone could see. My class studied the picture and nodded in approval, someone even said 'I wish I could paint like that'. I didn't see what the big deal was, I just drew some mountains and pine trees.
"Excellent Lily," Miss Hammond gushed. "The color distortion is perfect, and the way you drew the shadows is absolutely lovely."
"Thank you," I said before the bell rang.
My eyes found the clock. Was it one-thirty already? I shrugged and packed up my things.
"Hey new girl."
I swiveled around to see a tall, brunette-haired boy with gleaming blue eyes. He was about 6'0 and was wearing a navy blue t shirt, sweatpants and Jordan's. Must be a jock.
"Hi," I smiled.
His dazzling white teeth were clearly visible when his lips upturned into a grin. He was extremely handsome, there was no denying that.
