Chapter Thirty-Three

~~~
L I L Y
It's time.
Those two words rang throughout my head as I punched and kicked the punching bag with everything in me. I kept asking myself, should I lose? Murray seemed super sketchy when we discussed the matter and didn't give me very valid reasons on why I had to lose.
I mean of course I don't want to 'get in trouble' but that doesn't really seem very important at the moment.
Either way, it was about 4 and I just got home from school and am training like crazy since Blade isn't around. Grabbing my water bottle, I decide to head upstairs for a breather.
"Gregory is not behind this!" I heard a hushed voice snap.
Uncle Roy?
"I heard it!" Blade snapped back.
I was hidden behind the basement door, listening in like the nosy little mouse I am.
"It was Greg. Mr. Easton has something to do with Roy!"
Wait what.
"I have known this man for years! We're good friends! He's a law abiding citizen that was forced into a horrible situation with you!" Roy jabbed Blade's chest with his finger. "If this is one of your games boy, I will not hesitate to rip off that mask and arrest you right here."
I had never heard Roy so mad before. But what did Blade mean by 'Mr. Easton has something to do with this'? He couldn't mean...
"I don't care if you believe me or not," Blade spat. "But if none of you will believe, I'll take care of it myself."
With that, he stalked to his and Meteor's room.
I waited for Roy to get out of the room before creeping out of the stairwell, the door creaking as I opened it.
I checked the clock that read 4:15. There was two hours and forty-five minutes before tonight. I was ready, but something told me I would find more than what I was asking for at the Dugout tonight.
Blade and the cops(who were undercover) left early, it was six fifteen. Our plan was in place. We were ready.
