*Bonus part 2*

Part two:) Had to do one more from Carter's POV

Quick note, technically this would be about one year into the future but there will be no flying cars or anything like that lol. I'm just keeping it the same as the present. 

Also, this is over one year before summer or anything that took place in the previous bonus chapter. Carter and Hunter are seniors, Lily is a junior. 

I'm sorry, the timeline is kinda complicating and I'm doing my best lol.

If you are reading this, this is the very last chapter of Masked, I will not be updating this book anymore.

Bonus Chapter: part two

C A R T E R

CHRISTMAS EVE

"Dude, you guys just got back together and you have no ideas whatsoever for an anniversary gift?" 

"Don't rub it in Hunter," I groaned. "I just don't know what to do. She deserves the world."

"Yet you have no ideas."

"Well... I have one, but I don't know if she'll like it."

"Hit me."

Just as I was about to tell Hunter my plan, the door to my room flew open. Charlie came through. 

"Emily said that Lily's getting ready. She looks amazing," Charlie smiled. "And you do know the gala is in an hour right? You still smell like Cheetos."

"Shut up," I threw a pillow at my sister.

Emily was at the Easton's house since Evelyn was showing her some dance moves to do at the annual Easton gala. She's actually pretty flexible and Evelyn wanted to teach her some basic steps before she took actual classes. 

By the way, I have my own place now. It's a pretty nice apartment and Mrs. Easton hired me as an assistant to her number two, so I've got a steady job. Mr. Hammond is teaching me a lot about business.

Hunter one the other hand works at a local clothing shop and pizza place which is enough to provide for him and Emily. He also is over Jasmine and has his eyes on a girl he works with. 

But we have two separate apartments now, he's just chilling at mine at the moment. 

"So what did you have in mind?" Hunter continued once Charlie left. 

"Well, you know how we went to Hawaii that one time with her family?"

"Yeah. That was awesome."

"You know how Willow took pictures of everything?"

"Yeah, and...?"

"I made this."

I grabbed my laptop and pulled up the slideshow. I watched Hunter reaction until it ended. 

"Bro..." Hunter chuckled. 

"What?"

"You're whipped."

I shut my laptop and shoved my best friend off of the bean bag chair he was sitting on. We laughed and talked about it some more until we had the perfect plan. 

She's gonna like it...

Right?

I was waiting by the snack table, talking with Hunter while we were waiting for the girls to arrive. This year the Christmas gala thing was at a beach in Miami. There were fairy lights everywhere and weather was perfect. It was getting dark and the guests were chatting and watching the sunset, that was until their attention was drawn to the entrance of the party.
