I have to admit, I'm super nervous. I've never been to a prom before or a school dance. I'm just not the type of person to go to school dances, but this time feels different. I'm going with someone. I just kinda wish it was Jaeden taking me. And this isn't me hating on jack, because i love Jack. But as a best friend. I kinda wish I said yes to Jaeden as soon as he asked me.
It's Saturday. I crawl out of bed around 10:30am and grab some breakfast. I of course see my mom sitting at the table doing work like usual. "Morning sweetie" my mom said not paying much attention. "Morning, I can't believe it's finally prom. I can't wait to go" I squeal. "Your going to prom? With who?" She questions. "A guy, he asked me a few weeks ago and I said yes" I respond. "I'm sorry sweetie you can't go" she said but not in a very apologetic tone. "What why" I cry back. "You just can't, now go to your room" she shouts back. I run upstairs into my room crying. I slam the door behind me and flop onto my bed. I cry into a pillow and then hear a knock at my door. "Whoever you are, leave me alone" I shout. "I need to talk to you y/n" a soft voices said.
Who could be at my door?
"Leave me alone" I shout again. My door opens wide and get up to see Jaeden. "What are you doing here" I ask. "I just wanted to talk to you" Jaeden said quietly. "Why me" I ask, realising I'm asking lots of questions. "I, I just oh um I should go" Jaeden replied nervously. Jaeden walks back out the door and leaves.
What just happened?
I go back into my room and go on my phone for a bit. I get a text from jack, saying he'll pick me up at 6:30pm. Prom doesn't start till 7pm, it's 11am now so I have seven and a half hours till I get picked up. I walk over to my closet and grab an a outfit for the day.

I put my hair in a messy bun, brush my teeth and put on some white high top converse. I head out and go get my nails done for prom. Once I arrive at the nail salon I walk in and see Mia sitting there too. I sit in the waiting area and eventually I'm called up. I grab a colour and then sit down. I decided to get acrylic nails for prom in the colour red. After 20 minutes my nails are done.
