Now been a month since made contract with Tsubaki. Beings his Eve isn't so bad, we haven't done much. Then again I haven't done much lately. I will have to go back to work.

"Hey Sis, what's up?" Look up from my coffee to Sakkun.

"Just thinking, that's all."

"Thinking about what?" He stops doing his homework. Since he started talking to Mahiru again he went back to school. Well, he lied his way back in.

"Just that I'll have to go back to work."

"The linen shop?"

"No, my other job..."

"What is your other job?" I really don't want to lie to him.

"It's not exactly a job, it's just what I do."

"Which is?"

"I'm a thief, I steal money for the others and you guys."

"What like Robin Hood?" He looks at me puzzled.

"Hahaha, no not like Robin Hood. I just steal money."

"But why?" Pinky comes over.

"Don't eavesdrop!"

"So why do you?" He asks as he sat down.

"Needed food, clothes stuff like that. I had to steal money."

"What about Red?" Higan came over.

"IS EVERYONE GOING TO EAVESDROP!!"

Tsubaki jumps on my lap. Otogiri and Shamrock come out. "This isn't storytime you know..."

They all stare at me, "fine... I started pickpocketing as a kid. I needed a changed of clothes and food. Watch people around town, sus out who had the most money. And where their wallet was."

"What about your parents?" Sakkun asked.

"I ran away..." No one push further about my parents, Tsubaki already knows.

"I manage to get some money, got the things I needed. From time to time I would get caught trying to pickpocket, I always manage to run away. One day Red ran into me. I had enough money to live for a few days. But knowing what it's like to have nothing to your name. Saw he was hungry and needed clothes, I gave him the money I stole that day."

"That would of been a problem for you..."

"Yes it was, gave him the money and left. I was staying in an abounded building, I heard someone trying to get in. I hid in the shadows got my bow ready. I saw Red come through one of the holes. He wanted to return the favour, he brought me some food. And yeah that day on we work together. Long the way we met more people who were like us. Each time someone new join we had to steal more more. Before I realise it, I was Vixen and I had my own sulk."

"Sulk?" Pinky repeated.

"A group of foxes is called a sulk, leash or earth. When I refer to Earth mean our home base. But we're constantly moving, I'm the only one that stays put."

"Why though? Wouldn't it be easy for you to move with them?" Higan asked.

"Probably but I don't want to run the risk of getting them in trouble. I stay put people force on me and not my family. I never did plan on people moving in with me. Or becoming an Eve, things change." Pick Tsubaki up and placed him on the chair to get a drink.

"Then why gives us money?" Sakkun stood up clearly angry.

"You gave away 60 grand!" Shamrock joins him.

I took a drink, "because I can. And it was my money to give away not the Earth's money. Anyway, that's the end of storytime. Sakkun you have homework to finish. I'm sure the rest of you have stuff to do."

Sakkun went to his room to finish his homework. Otogiri and Pinky went out the back to the garden. Higan went to the garage to do his paintings. Shamrock stays at the table to do paperwork. As normal (Y/N) went to our room.

Close the door behind me. "I know there's more to your story."

"Tsubaki that's the main part, you don't need to know every detail."

Came up behind held her, "but I want to. You're my Eve I want to know everything about you."

"I'm not ready to tell you or the others everything."

"When you are, make sure you tell me first."

She turns around looks up to me. "I will. But I do have to go out soon and get some money. Means you'll have to come with me... As a fox, I don't want people to see you."

"I'm not going into a bag..."

"Yes you will, and bulletproof one of that!"

"I'm immortal!" She doesn't understand the word immortal...

"I don't fucking care if you're immortal, you're going in the bag! You can come out when it's safe!"

"If it's not safe why are you stealing, and not someone else."

"Because I can, and they can't. That's why." She storms off over to the bed. "Tsubaki... Have you ever lost someone, it broke you. It's literally broken you, you had no sense of being. And you were lost without them?"

I remain quiet, but yes I know the feeling. "That's what it felt like when the fox died. He took me away from the people who treated me wrong. He gave me a new life, yeah I had to kill my own food. Life was great just the two of us. I don't want to feel like that again. I don't want to lose my sulk, I don't want to lose my family. I don't want to lose you Tsubaki. When you came into my life, it changed everything. Felt like my life was worth living again. Yes, I love my sulk and I'll do anything for them. But you... You were different."

"Made life a little less boring..." I answered.

"Yes a little less boring and a little more interesting." She laughs.

"(Y/N)," I held her face, kissed her. She kisses back and apart her lips. I'm quick to claim what's mine, and mine alone. After today everyone will know that she mine.
