"Another day another dollar," walking home from work.

"Soon as I get home I'm having a bourbon shower. Bloody customers trying to return comforter without a receipt."

As I was walking had a nagging feeling. I follow the nagging down an alley, came across a black fur ball. "Oh, gawd I hope it's not dead. I can't touch dead animals."

Started to hyperventilate, crouch down reach out to touch it. The fur moves, "pfft it's alive. Hey, little fella you okay?"

It pokes its head up, "oh wow a fox. What are you doing so far away from home?" Place a hand out for it, it sniffs my hand.

I stand up look around, "I can't leave you here. I'll take you home for now." I pick up him, surprisingly its calm.

Long the way I pat him, he seems to be enjoying it. His tails sway... Wait tails?! "Two tails huh... At least I'll be able to pick you out."

Walk a little more and I get home. "Guess this is your home for now. Till I can take you back to the woods."

I place him down, walks around sussing the place out. "While you have a look around I'm going to have a shower. Before that, I'll get you something to eat and some water."

I grab a bowl and a plate out. "I should have some leftover BBQ chook from last night."

Grab the container of chicken and can of bourbon out. "There you go, some water and chicken. Be good, I'll be back soon."

- Tsubaki -

I watch the girl walk down the hall, go into a room. This place is plain and boring, not interesting at all...

Hear the shower running, I eat the chicken that she laid out for me. "I prefer sushi, guess this will do. I should leave. If I stay in town any longer Big Brother will find me."

The shower turns off, that was quick... She walks out a towel wrap around her. Okay, I'm interested... Follow her into another room, her bedroom. Sit in the doorway, and watch her.

She hums away putting cream on. She rubs the white cream up and down her legs.

She stops, "you're a male alright. You little prev." She laughs, I should be angry with her. But her laugh...

"It's a new body cream, called 'The Scent of Camellia.'" I tilt my head, they don't have much of ascent.

"I know what you're thinking, that a camellia flower doesn't have a scent. But there new species that do have, smell lemony, some like jasmine and anise. I chose anise, what do you think?" Again she held out her hand, it does smell nice.

- (Y/N) -

"You wanna know another name for camellia flower? Tsubaki." I watch his ears prick up.

"Hehe, you like the name Tsubaki, boy?" I watch his tails sway.

"Tsubaki it is then," I finish putting my cream on and get dress.

As I walkout Tsubaki follows, he's so cute. "What to do?" Walk into the kitchen grab leftover chicken and another can. Get the fork I use before.

I sit on the lounge, Tsubaki joins me. "You still hungry?" I hold a piece of chicken out for him. He takes it off the fork eats it.

"Sorry, Tsubaki but I'm not the most interesting person." He stares at me blankly. Something I just notice he has blood-red eyes. Put container aside, pick him up.

"How strange, I've never known a fox to have blood-red eyes. You like genetically altered or something?" I look him over, see if anything else was different.

"Just your tails and eyes, means you're unique." Sat him on my lap, grabbing the container and the PS4 controller. Place the container between me and the armrest. That way we can both pick at it.

"How about we find something to watch? I'm a boring fucker." He pulled the most funniest face.

"Tsubaki have you never heard a girl swear?" He goes back to eating the chicken.

After watching some random anime, started to feel tired. "I don't know about you Tsubaki, but I'm getting tired. Plus I got work tomorrow arvo."

I place him on the lounge, put everything away. Tsubaki follows me into the bathroom and into my room. Hop into bed, Tsubaki sitting on the floor. I don't have a bed for him, guess he can sleep with me.

"Come here," pick him up place him on the pillow next to me.

"You can sleep there, till I figure out what I'm going to do with you." I watch him curl up into a ball.

"Good night Tsubaki," I leaned over kissing his head, give into sleep.

- Tsubaki -

I waited for her to fall asleep before I change. "You're too kind for your own good."

"Now I'm going to kill you." My katana appears I hold it over her neck.

"No don't kill my Tsubaki..." She begins to stir, I change back.

"Tsubaki!" She sits up looking around the room. Her (E/C) eyes land on me.

"Good, you're safe." She pats me, settles back down.

"I had a dream that hunters were after you. I tried to save you but a hunter shoots at us. I woke before the bullet got me."

She scratches under my chin. "I'll do anything to protect you Tsubaki."

I got this strange feeling, the urge to kill her was gone... I stood up made my way over to her, headbutted her shoulder. She got the idea laid on her back. Lay on her chest, stretch out.

She laid her hand on me. "You're so cute, hey Tsubaki?"

I look up to her, "do you wanna stay here or back to your home?"

I nuzzled into her neck. "Tsubaki that tickles, here it is."

She pulled the blanket over us, she went back to sleep. Maybe I'll let her live a little longer.
