There's something strange about the end of every story.

Because you know there's nothing left after you flip that final page, yet in your heart you'd like to believe that somewhere, those people you invested so much time reading about are living happily ever after.

We know the story ends, we know there's nothing left, and we keep on hoping.

If I told you all the little details I excluded from the time I met Camila to now, this story would've had at least an extra fifty chapters.

Nobody wants that much fluff. Do they?

Am I happy? Yeah. Will I always be happy? From here on out, yeah. There are no more words to read, so it's the only thing you can assume, right?

And I guess it's kinda sad, y'know?

Because you know, reader, that this was just another story you'd like to think is real.

Okay, okay. I get it. Maybe I shouldn't put it like that, but it's true.

Nevertheless, I hope this story inspired you. That's my one and only wish for anyone that reads it. I hope you learned something, whether it be about someone else or yourself.

Because, really, why do we write stories? Why do we read them? When do we ever express ourselves to the fullest, and willingly?

Almost never, right?

Because we're afraid of what people might think if we show them what we really are.

Stories are a great way to express ourselves without having to speak the words ourselves. Reading those stories helps us feel like we aren't alone in what we try to hide.

So what am I really trying to say? What was the point of this short, parting speech?

Just because it isn't real, reader, doesn't mean you can't find a reality like this that is real.

I get that it's hard. How often do you find someone as perfect as Camila? It's difficult.

My heart's been broken before, remember. I get it one hundred percent.

But I want you to remember that through the pain that others inflict on you, or the pain you inflict on yourself, nothing like that ever has to define you.

There's hope in every story, real or not. Yours has only begun, and you have an amazing power that I cannot possibly possess.

You can make your dreams a reality.

So don't be afraid to try and fail, because the only true failure is when you stop trying.

Anyway, I'll let you go now. I think you've read quite enough already.

Oh wait, I almost forgot actually.

Camila and I are expecting soon. We got a donor. She's having twins, apparently. I'm super excited! I'm still thinking up some names. I was told I get to name one of them, so it would be fair.

The marriage is going good. We officially got married on October 30th of the past year, because we both agreed that fall weddings were the best.

Ally and Dinah were our maids of honor. Well, technically, I guess Dinah was supposed to be the best man.

Speaking of which, Dinah is finally outta school, and her and Normani are finally pursuing something serious. So there's the Norminah rise we've all been waiting for.

Ally also found this dude named Troy that apparently is one of the guys that threw a pair of boxers at me during my one concert way back when. Crazy coincidence, I guess.

Yes. I get boxers thrown at me too. I'll only ever care enough to pick up the bras, though. Never cared much for boxers. Besides wearing them myself, of course. They're comfy, what can I say?

Anyways, as I said Ally met this dude out of pure coincidence, but at least it was a good coincidence. They're cute together.

And you'll never guess where Troy decided to take you for their first date.

Waffle House. Ally's all time favorite.

Literally, if that isn't a sign that they're meant to be, I dunno what is.

So yeah! That being said, I think we're all getting our shit together finally. So that's good.

If you can't already tell, I'm really stalling this ending. I don't want this to end. Not ever.

But, I guess it kinda has to now. How else would y'all find the time to get out there, get off your ass, and do something with your life?

Oh, but one last thing before you go. I'm kinda ashamed I almost forgot to add this in here.

Camren is fucking real.

~

A/N: welp, that's literally it guys. We've reached the end of the line. I hope you noticed how hard I tried to tug at the heart strings with this ending 😌

I'm kinda sad actually, cuz I love fantasizing about Camren 😭 as y'all can probably tell. Now I gotta finish writing like a bunch of other stories and get them ready for posting.

I feel like I've been writing this story since forever. Literally since before June of 2019, because I remember writing this while on the clock for my summer job LOL.

Honestly, while fanfics are literally just fanfics, each one that I write is always a process because I want them to have good development and a good plot. The characters may not be original, but the storyline is always something that was pieced together by the madness that is my god damn head. So with that being said, I really hope you all enjoyed this story.

Oh and yes, if you didn't catch the memo, I'm writing more fics 👀 stay tuned bitches.

Anyways, thank you for reading as always. I'm glad you stuck along for the ride. And lots of love always, from the bottom of my heart (:
