(Your POV):
As soon as I was out into the hallways, I activated my suit and mask so that I could fight the attackers anonymously. I didn't know where they were in the school, but I knew they had at least paid a visit to the main office, so that was where I decided to start. Besides, the office had a video feed of most parts of the school which should aid me in finding the attackers.

The first thing I saw when I entered the office was the secretary having been shot in the chest, blood still seeping from the wound. I ignored the body and turned my attention instead to the cameras, but soon found that that wasn't necessary as a bullet came flying at me. I stopped it midair with my telekinesis and glared at the man who had tried to shoot me.

"Nice try, but I'm afraid that it's going to take more than that to kill me," I spoke to him, sending the bullet through his skull instead.

"Target has been found," a voice from the doorway spoke, his weapon trained on me. "I repeat, the target has been found in the main office."

"Oh so you've come here for me? Let me guess, a surprise from my parents?"

"Since when did you stop in a fight to make snarky comments? The assassin that I watched get trained would just kill without hesitation."

I shrugged, "I still do, it just got boring, so now I like to have a bit of fun before ending the fight."

I raised my own gun up and shot him before he had a chance to fire at me. The victory was short lived and a large group of H.A.M.M.E.R. agents rushed through the office doors, firing at me. I flipped behind a table, using my telekinesis to position it like a shield in front of me. Knowing that it wasn't going to hold up long against bullets, I sent it flying into the group of agents, knocking a good number of them down.

Running behind the secretary's desk, I shot at the agents remaining standing and realized that I was going to need some help to defeat them. And some help was what I got.

"Oh, I see how it is. I'm just a weak little bug to you, but Void's a real threat? Is that why you guys abandoned our fight to go after her?" A very familiar voice spoke as Spider-Man swung into the room, dodging bullets and webbing up the agents. However he wasn't perfect and ended up getting shot, losing his confidence and joining me behind the desk.

"Guess we're on the same side again, got any plans on how to defeat them?" He asked, holding a hand to his shoulder, where the bullet luckily only seemed to have grazed him.

"I might have something, but it will take time," I replied, focusing on a nearby science classrooms. I managed to find some acetone and called it to me, along with a pack of matches.

"What are you doing?" Peter asked me as I tried concentrating, not used to doing so much with my telekinesis at once.

"Shut it," I mumbled, dumping the acetone on the ground beneath the H.A.M.M.E.R. agents and then lighting it with one of the matches. What occurred was a small explosion, causing many to cry out in pain as the flames spread onto them. I used the fire as a distraction, coming out of my hiding place and shooting the survivors down.

"Didn't realize that you had fire powers too, how come you've never used them against me?" Peter asked as he helped me defeat the remaining agents.

"Because I don't, that was just some acetone that I lit. Now less talking, more killing."

"Woah, hold up a sec. I'm not killing these people."

"Spider-Man, these are agents of an underground criminal organization akin to HYDRA, the only way to win against them is to kill them. Now stop being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and start actually protecting the innocents in these school."

"Just one question, how do you know about their organization?"

I snapped the neck of the last remaining member of the agents, "because I'm one of them."

"Um, so why are you killing them? I'm really confused right now, is this like a training exercise or something?"

"Nope, Spidey-Kid, I just decided that I'd let these idiotic high schoolers live another day. I'll probably get punished for it later, but I do have some morals. I do this job to purify the world, this mission was merely because they wanted to cause some chaos."

I could practically hear Peter smirking as he replied, "who would have though that the ruthless Void actually has a heart?"

"Hey, I said that I had morals, not a heart. There's a difference," I responded, knowing full well that this man before me had been the one to make me realize that I had a heart as well. The moment was interrupted by the sounds of sirens, making me panic slightly, "well, that's my cue to get out of here. I'm fairly certain I'm a wanted criminal so hanging out with the cops isn't a smart plan."

With that I ran back through the school, trying to figure out how to get back into my math class without anyone noticing. I ended up deciding to use crawl through the ceiling back into the room. I looked down at the class then caused a book to fall over in the opposite corner of the classroom as a distraction. While their attention was averted, I dropped down from the ceiling still in my suit so that the boots would muffle my landing. I then deactivated my suit and moved the tile back in place, waiting with the rest of my class for the lock down to end.

It took a while, probably due to the fact that the police officers needed to make sure that the school was actually safe. When we were finally released, it was announced that the rest of the day had been cancelled. I was rather disappointed because I had lost my excuse to spend the day with Peter, but I knew that I needed to confront my parents and get it over with. Otherwise they would continue to send attacks, whether I was at the school to protect it or not.

My first order of business when we were released was to find Peter. It seemed that the bullet had just grazed him and I didn't think that he sustained any other injuries, but I wanted to make sure that he was ok. He seemed to have that same though about me, although he had no idea I had been a lot closer to the action than the rest of our math class.

"Peter!" I called out, the second he came into view, seeming to be looking for me. A look of relief washed over his face as he picked up his pace and I did the same, practically running into each other's arms. "I was so scared, Peter, why did you have to leave the classroom?"

"I-I wanted to check on Ned," he lied, still holding me close to his chest. "I knew that our classroom had not been attacked and I was afraid that his might have been."

I pulled away to look at him in the eyes, "I understand your concern for your friend, but you have to stop putting yourself in danger like this! It's like the whole Green Goblin thing all over again! I know you mean well, but you drive me insane with worry."

He cupped my cheek in his hand, staring down at me with those apologetic brown eyes, making me forget everything that was going on. The only thing that existed in that moment was us, the small distance between our bodies and the small distance between our lips. God how I wanted to just lean up and kiss him, but I was too scared to make the first move.

I could have sworn I noticed Peter leaned down towards me as we were forced apart by a shove. My attention finally left Peter and I saw Flash smirking at us, "oh sorry, didn't see you two there. You would have thought that you would be hard to miss, being an impenetrable wall of gross. Seems right that the two of you got stuck together, you're the biggest losers on the school."

"Really? Are you leaving then?" I shot back, anger radiating through my body.

"You think you're so tough, don't you? But your just like all of the other geeks here-" Flash broke off as I twisted my arm behind his back, causing him to let out a little shriek of pain.

"Yeah except, unlike the other geeks, I've had self defense training. Now I suggest you leave Peter and myself alone before I demonstrate more of my combat knowledge," I growled before letting him go and watching him flee the moment that he was freed.
