(Your POV):
"What is it that you needed to show us that was so urgent that it couldn't wait until we left headquarters?" My mother demanded as my parents barged into the apartment.

"You will see very soon, but I would wear these masks to conceal your identity when he wakes up," I informed them, knowing that, for once, I could finally make my parents proud.

"Is this really necessary?" She asked, taking the mask from my hand and looking at it repulsively.

I sighed, "just do it and I can show you what I have got for you."

They finally both did so begrudgingly and I allowed them to follow me into the room where I had left Spider-Man tied to the chair. Although now I couldn't see they're faces, I imagined a proud expression plastered on each and my heart warmed slightly with the imaginary praise.

However that quickly disappeared when my father turned to me, "took you long enough."

Before I had a chance to respond, Spider-Man woke up and began to freak out. He fought against the restraints and looked up at my parents, "wh-where am I?"

"Nowhere you need to concern yourself with, I am sure," my mother spoke, stepping forward. "The only thing that you need to know is that you will be answering all of our questions."

"Highly doubt that," he retorted, clearly trying to act strong, but I could almost hear his racing heart. He suddenly gasped, "You're who Void works for."

My mother chuckled, "very good, I guess you're not just some child in spandex. Void, it seems like he prefers you. You know, she's one of the best interrogators east of the Pacific, you chose well in having her conduct yours. Void, if you would please extract the information from him."

I stepped forth from out of the shadows, grabbing the case of interrogation tools that my family used from my father. My heart quickening with anticipation, I began to approach Spider-Man until I could touch the fabric of his mask. Realizing what I was about to do, he frantically struggled in the chair, but there was no point. I yanked the mask off of his head and faltered as I saw Peter's face staring back at me.

(Peter's POV):
I woke up to faint voices and approaching footsteps. A pain radiated throughout my body, although I was unsure where it originated as my entire body felt as though it were on fire. As I opened my eyes everything was blurry for a moment as I adjusted to my new surroundings. It seemed to be some sort of drab apartment building, two masked figures standing before me.

A voice that I did not recognize spoke, "took you long enough."

It was at that moment that I realized I was tied to a chair and began to fight against the bonds as panic took over my thoughts. I didn't know where I was was, but based on the masks and the fact that I was tied to a chair, this wasn't good. Realizing that I couldn't get myself untied, I looked up at the figures looking in front of me, "wh-where am I?"

"Nowhere you need to concern yourself with, I am sure," a female voice spoke as the other figure stepped closer to me. "The only thing that you need to know is that you will be answering all of our questions."

"Highly doubt that," I tried to act brave as I racked my brain to think of a way out of this situation. Perhaps I could get my suit to alert Mr. Stark, but I didn't know how to do that without alerting my captors to my plan.

How did I even get caught anyway? I remembered hearing a woman scream and rushing to her aid. Inside the apartment the woman lay shot and above the body was the Void. Realization hit me like a train and I stated, "You're who Void works for."

"Very good, I guess you're not just some child in spandex. Void, it seems like he prefers you. You know, she's one of the best interrogators east of the Pacific, you chose well in having her conduct yours. Void, if you would please extract the information from him," the woman spoke as my self-proclaimed enemy emerged from the shadows.

She grabbed something from the man, which I imagined was not something that I was going to like, and approached me. I couldn't believe that she had gotten the better of me, that she had managed to capture me before I had the chance to capture her. I was quickly pulled out of my thoughts when I felt her fingers on my mask, causing me to struggle desperately against her, knowing that I needed to keep my identity secret.

However, she successfully tore my mask from me and froze as my face was revealed to the three people in the room. Nothing was said and I couldn't read what Void was thinking on account of her own mask. Finally breaking the silence, she turned to the other figures in the room, "if you would mind waiting outside, I would love nothing more than to get started on this interrogation."

One of the figures nodded as she spread out the bag of instruments in front of her, "call us back in once you finished."

As they left the room, Void traced one of her sharp blades down my cheek, causing a light stinging sensation followed by a trickle of warmth that slid down my face. However once she heard the door close behind them, she put the blade down and leaned in close to me.

"Listen, I'm going to get you out of here, but you have to promise that you are just going to leave. You are still quite injured from our fight and I would easily overtake you so fighting back would be useless anyway. And if you do attempt any funny business, then I am going to actually complete this interrogation. Do you accept my terms?" She whispered frantically, clearly not want to to be overheard.

I stared at her, not understanding what she was saying, "wh-why do you want to help me?"

"That is unimportant, do you want to be set free or not?"

"Of course. But I don't understand-" I cut off as she placed pressure on my leg and a cry of pain left my throat. "What was that for?"

"You're asking too many questions and has to sound like I'm interrogating you, doesn't it?" She replied, quickly untying my restraints. "That window will be the best exit for your escape, we're still in Queens so you can go back to your base, or whatever it is, easily from here. Do me a favor, though, and web me up to the wall if you would."

I nodded as I stood up, yelping out in pain as I put pressure on my injured leg. I watched her stab herself with one of her blades and simply stared at her in disbelief. She gestured for me to web her up as she demanded, "I asked you what your name is!"

I knew that she was only pretending to fool her superiors on the other side of the door, but I felt a chill run down my spine at the ferocity of her words. It hit me then that I would not have survived an interrogation with her, I would have told her everything. I quickly webbed her up to the wall as per her request then slipped out of the window. A scream of pain left her throat as soon as I was clear and I knew that I needed to get out of there was quickly as possible, swinging through the streets of Queens. But instead of heading back home, where I knew May would flip, I changed course to leave the borough and visit the Avengers Tower.

-

(A/N): Quick reminder that all of the Avengers still live together in their tower being in this house we ignore Civil War and all of the painful events following (also a bit of Ultron because the tower works better for this story than the compound). I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter and that you let your lovely Peter escape!
