(Your POV):
I didn't sleep at all that night between worrying about Peter and making the stabilizer that he created. As I worked, I heard my phone go off multiple times, each a message from Peter.
Hey, (Y/N), I don't know what I did, but I'm really sorry if I hurt you.
Please answer me, (Y/N)
I'm really sorry, (Y/N)
Please tell me that there's something I can do
Please
I shut my phone off, knowing that his texts would only distract me from making the cure. I needed it to be perfect, otherwise I could end up killing Harry, or worse. I really didn't need to create a bigger monster than Harry had already turned into.
Once finishing the batch, I ran a few tests on it until I was convinced that it was safe enough to give to him. I poured the serum into vials, grabbing one to take with me and the others to store in my mini fridge in case an emergency occurred and I needed another vial.
Before leaving to give it to Harry, I took a quick shower and changed my clothes, knowing that I would have to go to school immediately afterwards. I grabbed my bag and a bagel from the kitchen before leaving my apartment and then made my way to where I had restrained Harry.
He stirred as I walked into his room, glaring at me, "why don't you just kill me?"
"I want to help you, Harry," I assured him, dropping my bag and pulling out the vial of serum. "I brought you a present."
"What is that?" He demanded, his eyes clouding with fear.
I gave him a reassuring smile, "don't worry, I'm not stripping you of your powers, just stabilizing them. Once you can think clearly, you can decide whether or not you want to keep the superpowers."
He immediately began to struggle beneath his restraints, his Hyde side desperate to remain in control. However, the restraints were stronger than they looked and were able to hold him to the table so that I could inject him with the serum.
His body began convulsing beneath me and I went into full panic mode, wondering if I was going to be responsible for killing him. His body finally collapsed against the table and I glanced up at the heart rate monitor he was attached to. Across it was drawn a straight line.
"Shit," I muttered, racking my brains for a way to revive him. An insane idea popped into my head and I hastily placed my hands on his chest and let my electricity flow to my hands. Mg new powers were still temperamental so it was dangerous at best with overwhelming him with electricity or not even producing any at all both being equally as likely. Thankfully a current of electricity passed from my finger and through his body, jolting his heart. I looked up at the monitor. Still nothing. Desperately, I tried again.
This time the beeping returned to the monitor and I let out a breath of relief. I stepped back from the table and decided to make his breakfast should he wake up. By the time I returned to his room, he was still unconscious, but was stable.
About ten minutes later, Harry's eyes fluttered open and he let out a groan. Noticing me standing by he asked, "what the hell just happened?"
"I injected you with a serum that should stabilize your Goblin powers. How're you feeling?"
"I-I'm not sure? What exactly happened to me?I only remember fragments of things happening since the day before I became owner of Oscorp, why are you here? W-wait, why do I- are you Void?"
I sighed, "oh great, we have a lot to get you caught up on. Here, let me just get you something to eat and then I need to get to school, but I'll explain as much as I can while you're eating."
Harry nodded, not know what else to do, slumping back down onto the table. I brought his breakfast over and began to feed him, which I had done for two meals a day since capturing him. While I fed him, I explained as quickly as I could in the time that we had what had transpired. There was a million questions that he wanted to ask but couldn't because I was stuffing his face with food and didn't let him.
As soon as I gave him his last bite, I stood from his side, "sorry for the rush, but I really can't be late and I can't fly or teleport so I have to leave now. I can explain in more detail and answer your questions this afternoon, I promise."
With that I grabbed my bag and hurried out of the room. I locked the room as I left and, knowing that the lock would hold should Harry go crazy while I was at school, let the restraints binding Harry to the table release. I gave him a nod through the window of the door and then sprinted out of the abandoned base, checking the time on my phone.
Shit. As I made it onto the street, I scanned the area for a vehicle that I could steal so that I could make it to school without being late. My parents would be pissed if they found out that I was not at school, unless they knew that I was completing a mission. I couldn't risk them finding out what I was up to.
My eyes landed on a motorcycle not far away and I sprinted over, hot wiring it and speeding down the street. By ignoring some traffic laws, I managed to make it to school on time, leaving the motorcycle a few blocks away then running into the building.
I beat the bell by about a minute and immediately made my way to my math class, where I found Peter sitting in his normal desk. He glanced up when I slipped my seat, but quickly looked away, a pained expression written across his face.
For the rest of the day, we avoided each other's gaze. But no one else seemed to notice the tension between us until lunch. Ned had invited Betty Brant to come sit with us and with her came her friend Gwen Stacy. He announced that he and Betty were now dating, causing me to look away at the word that had become tainted.
"Aren't you and Peter dating? Maybe we can do a double date sometime?" Betty suggested and I felt myself at a loss for words.
Eventually I managed to get out, "actually, um, we're not dating anymore."
"What?" Ned asked, his eyes widening. "But you guys seemed so happy, you were inseparable!"
"It just- it just didn't work out," I explained, getting up from the table. "I'm probably not actually wanted here anymore, so I can just go and make things a bit less awkward. Um, congratulations Ned, Betty."

(A/N): I'm not super happy with how this chapter turned out, but hopefully you still enjoyed it! This book is actually coming to an end soon and it's somewhat rushed because there are a lot of chapters but I wanted to get to a certain point before moving on to the sequel, so I apologize for that but I hope that the story is still well served!
