(Your POV):
My thoughts were swirling and I didn't know what to do. H.A.M.M.E.R. had finished their Spider-Man killing creations and they were unlike anything I had ever imagined. They weren't simply enhanced humans like I was. They were monsters.Mac Gargon had had his genes spliced with the DNA of a scorpion in addition to various other chemical and radiological treatments. His suit added to his enhanced abilities, providing a seven foot tail with an incredible destructive power. The rest of his suit provided armor as well as having an armory of weapons built in.
Mark Raxton had an even more extreme transformation. His skin ended up absorbing the metal alloy that they had experimented with to create his powers. This caused his skin to become metallic and he was able to shoot fire from his skin, which was something I found myself jealous of.
My parents hadn't informed me of when they were both considered battle ready, even though they were supposed to be helping me capture and kill Spider-Man. Instead I had to find out through social media, people posting about their fight against Spider-Man in the middle of downtown New York, right outside the Daily Bugle offices. I was pissed at my parents, to say the least, but I did not confront them about as I feared it would only confirm their suspicions that I cared for Spider-Man.
"(Y/N), what the hell is this?!" An angry voice demanded in a hushed tone, as my arm was grabbed and I was pulled into the corner of the hallway at school.
I looked up to see Harry glaring down at me, his phone open to a picture of Raxton, Gargan, and Peter. Of course he would realize that my family would be behind this, there was no way to talk myself out of this one.
I sighed as I locked the phone and handed it back to Harry, not able to look at the picture any longer, "H.A.M.M.E.R. has lost its faith in my ability to capture Spider-Man. I've been trying for months now and have only captured him once, but even then he escaped confinement and we were left without answers. So instead, my parents decided to create more enhanced beings to go after Spider-Man, ones that they told me I would be leading. Clearly they lied about that, I wasn't even aware that they had finished creating them."
"Their purpose is to kill Spider-Man?! (Y/N), they're trying to kill Peter!"
"You think I don't realize that? There's nothing I can do about it, Harry. I can't let my parents can't find out who Spider-Man is and I can't try to get them to call these monsters off."
"Then we have to kill them."
"Yes, I know, I will- wait, what do you mean we have to kill them?"
"I may have my mind back, but you made sure that I could also keep my powers. I haven't used them since you released me, I didn't think it was wise to have another enhanced being running around, especially knowing that H.A.M.M.E.R. would be waiting around the corner to take me down. But these creatures are too powerful for Peter to take down on his own, perhaps even too much for the both of you-"
"Absolutely not, I'm not letting you put yourself in unnecessary danger. I'll take care of the enhanced with Peter, I've had training my whole life so I'll be fine and I can protect Peter while I'm at it."
"(Y/N), I'm not doubting your abilities, but was fighting a man made out of molten metal included in your training? You can use all the help that you can get and I still have my abilities. Please, (Y/N), let me help."
