"What is it?" he answered rudely.

"Can I please have my things?" Elissa asked.

The door cracked open, and he looked around. "I'm surprised you didn't bring my little brother to come and get them. Where is he? Getting ready for your big night?"

"No, he's downstairs, you pervert! "Elissa yelled.

"Shut up, and no, you can't have them back," he said.

"What...?! Why...?" Elissa asked.

"Because of your little fit you threw earlier. It got on my nerves, and therefore, I'm not giving you back your stuff. Not to mention you kicked me in the stomach..." he said flatly.

"I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to kick you...I just didn't know who you were."

"No matter how many times you apologize, I'm not giving it back," he informed.

"Why not give it back?" Elissa pouted.

"Didn't I all ready explain this?"

"Yes, but I want to know what I can do to get it back!" Elissa almost shouted.

Rae was coming back up the stairs, and saw Elissa standing in front of Matt.

"Listen, just because I think you're hot, doesn't mean I like you like that," Matt said, seeing his brother, and making it look like she came over because she liked him.

Rae stopped where he was, with his eyes wide open.

"What are y--...?" Elissa started.

"Listen, baby, but I don't want you, you're too young for me," Matt said, slamming his door shut.

Elissa sighed, and started pounding on his door. "You better g--..."

"Elissa, what are you...why...how...?" Rae started.

Elissa turned around to see Rae, and she started to say, "Rae, your brother won--..."

"I don't want to hear it..." Rae said, going back in his room, getting a blanket, and going back down the stairs.

"Rae, what's bothering you?" Elissa asked.

"What do you think?" Rae said, not turning back.

"I don't kn-..." Elissa started, when it hit her. "Are you mad about what your brother said?" She ran over to the rail of the stairs, and looked down at Rae walking slowly down the stairs, dragging the blanket behind him. "Rae? Why won't you talk to me?" Elissa said, as her eyes began to fill up with tears. She started running down the stairs, and she caught up with Rae. She threw her arms around him, saying, "Rae don't listen to a thing he was saying!"

"Then why else would you be at his room...?" Rae said, gloomily.

"I was getting my pillow and my clothes from his room, but he won't give them to me..."

"Then why would he say that about you?"

"I guess it's because he saw you coming, and maybe he's jealous..." Elissa sighed.

"Jealous? Why would he be jealous? You're too young for him!" Rae said angrily, still going towards the Living Room.

"Rae, you have to believe me..." Elissa said, a couple of tears coming down her cheeks, and her resting her head on his back.

He sighed, and looked back at her face. He saw the tears, and said, "Elissa...I can beat him up for you..."

She looked up, and smiled, "That'd be nice. Oh, and thanks for the piggy-back ride," Elissa laughed, and jumped down off of his back.

Rae looked down at her, and wiped away her tears. "You really wouldn't want to lose me, would you?"

"No, you mean a lot to me, and I wouldn't ever want to lose you," Elissa smiled.

Rae smiled, and kissed her forehead. "I'll go get your things." He headed back up the stairs to gain back the things that she lost.

Elissa picked up the blanket, and took it into the Living Room, then ran up the stairs to meet up with Rae, who was already knocking on Matt's door.

"What is it?" he said, opening up his door.

"Where are Elissa's things?" Rae demanded.

"Probably in her room, how would I know?" Matt said, slamming his door.

Rae looked at Elissa, who was now at his side, and knocked on his door again. "Tell me where her things are, now!"

"How the heck would I know?! I'm just trying to go to sleep, but I obviously can't do that with all of these interruptions!" he said, coming to the door again.

"Tell me where they are, dang it!" Rae demanded once again.

"Why don't you check in her room like I said the first time?!" he yelled.

Elissa started back towards Rae's room, and looked in there, seeing her stuff scattered all over the floor of the room. She sighed, and looked over to Rae. "Rae, he must have snuck it in here when I went downstairs with you..."

"I told you it was most likely in there..." Matt sighed, and slammed his door.

Rae sighed, and started heading back downstairs.

"Rae...?" Elissa started.

He turned around, and asked, "What is it?"

"Why don't you sleep in your bed? I'll sleep downstairs, okay?" Elissa offered.

"No, it's all right. I'll be fine, don't worry," Rae said, smiling.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine," Rae answered turning and walking back downstairs.

"Goodnight," Elissa smiled, and went back into Rae's Room. She went back to sleep, until she got woken up again with Rae coming into his room getting him some clothes out to wear that day.

Rae, who was still half asleep at this time, went through his daily routine. He started by taking off his shirt to get dressed. He was fixing to pull it over his head to take it off, but was stopped by a pillow hitting his back. He ended up losing his balance, and falling over because he wasn't expecting it. "What the..." he started, and then he saw Elissa, and started turning red in his cheeks. "Elissa...?! I'm so sorry! I had...uh...forgotten," he says, giving her a stupid looking smile, and standing upright, pulling his shirt down to where its supposed to be.

Elissa started laughing, and said, "You forgot...? Not to mention, you were half asleep when you came in here."

Rae grabbed his clothes, and went outside his room, so he could get changed in one of the many bathrooms he has in his house.

Elissa laid back down on her pillow, and fell back to sleep.
