Recap...

Rae hears a nurse outside saying, "Sir, that isn't your room." "Oh, great...get yourself caught why don't you...?"

"Come on, sir, I'll lead you to your room," the nurse from earlier was saying.

"Oh, my room...? I was looking for the bathroom," an older voice said.

"There's a bathroom in your room," the nurse informed.

"So it wasn't Matt...good thing," Rae thought out loud.

"What, you thought that old geezer was me?" Matt asked, coming back into the room.

"Uh, of course not!" Rae denied.

"Whatever...here's your clothes," Matt said, handing over his clothes.

"Thanks!" Rae said, grabbing his clothes, and taking off his gown.

Matt stood at the door, watching for people who might try to come in the room.

"Okay, I'm through," Rae said as he finished pulling down his shirt.

"Okay, now try getting out of here without getting caught," Matt warned.

"What about you? I know Mom sent you to come after me. What will she say when you go back without me?" Rae asked.

"I'll just tell her that I lost you, and that the hospital is a big place," Matt explained, and walked out of the door.

Rae sighed, and peeked out of the room to see if the nurse he ran into earlier was there. He went out of the room when no one was looking, and he started for the front entrance. Once he got outside, he started running in the direction of his house. He was running for about five or six minutes when he finally reached his house. He was panting hard as he started slowing down, and then stopped in front of his house. "Should I check her house again?" he asked himself. "No...I seriously doubt her dad would be able to find her after being passed out and Elissa running off shortly after." Rae started heading down the opposite direction of Elissa's house. "Eli-..." he started to call out, but then remembered when he did that the last time. He closed his eyes, and started thinking of how he might be able to find her without calling her name out loud, and without letting her dad know he was looking for her.

"R-Rae...? Are you a-alone?" Elissa called out from a hiding place she had picked out until Rae got back home.

Rae nodded, still looking around for Elissa. "Where are you?"

"So your parents aren't home?" Elissa asked, disregarding his question.

"No, they're not here, they're still in the hospital," Rae answered.

Elissa leapt out from the bushes, and tightly hugged his neck. "I'm so sorry...I didn't think you would have to go to the hospital. This is my entire fault..." she apologized.

"No, Elissa, it's not your fault. How long have you been hiding there?" Rae asked her.

Elissa pulled away from the hug she was giving him. "I've been there ever since your mom told me to get away from you..." she sighed.

"So, you heard everything she and my brother said?" Rae asked.

Elissa nodded her head slowly, and said, "Every word..."

Rae pulled her close, and hugged her tightly. "I'm so sorry you had to hear that..."

"You still cared about me though...that made me happy," Elissa smiled. "When you woke up, my name was the first word that came out of your mouth."

"Yeah, I guess it was wasn't it?" Rae smiled.

"Don't worry...you won't ever have to worry about dealing with my dad," Elissa said, changing the subject.
