19|More Woods Seriously

Cas's POV

The group had separated so we all could pack and then I realized I need to pack hunting stuff so I rummage through my gear to see what I really need. Surprising you can only kill a wendigo with fire that means we have to pack flamethrowers. Man I haven't had to use this thing in a while. I also brought a gun and silver blade to ensure that I had most things covered. I double checked my bags and once I was satisfied with what I packed I texted Sam.

Cas: Hey I'm done packing so if u can pick me up that'd be great.

Sammy😁: Ok cool give me a bit and I'll drop by to pick u up.

Cas: Ok see u soon

With that I went downstairs and looked for some snacks. I didn't find much just some fruit snacks and crackers. But I thought something was better then nothing. Then I remembered that I need blood. Now I'm going to assume you guys don't quite understand what's going on so let me fill you in a bit. The hole werewolf thing is just a cover. Well kinda I guess. It doesn't make much sense but yeah. I'm actually using demon blood to access my powers. It sounds weird but that's the truth. I'm trying to keep the truth from Sam and the other's but it's getting hard to keep it from her. The truth will come out eventually I just hope it's not till after this trip.

Sam's POV

Once Cas texted me I rushed to get my crap together and get on the road. My dad decided to take me so now I just have to wait for him. I had about 2 and a half bags full of stuff. All sorts of stuff. I had a gun, some blades, a blanket, a pillow, a change of clothes, some snacks, a few water bottles, a change of shoes, a battery pack or 2, can't forget about the flamethrower, and all that other camp stuff. My dad swung by Cas's and we made our way to the woods where we planned on camping. After like 25 minutes my dad pulled up to Woodbury woods. The sign for the woods was big and a little intimating. Cas and I got out of the car and grabbed our stuff. Then out of a car from the other side of the parking lot came Katie. The three of us with bags full of camping gear made our way to the spot we wanted to be. I guess we were about half way through the woods when Cas had stopped and said this was probably the best spot. So we sat our stuff down and started unpacking as one does when they find where they want to set up their camp. Once we got all set up we started exploring the surrounding area. We didn't find much just an old cabin that was in pretty good condition considering it was in the woods and abandoned for what seemed like 10 years or more. Not much else was around. Not too many people were camping here probably because these woods can get a bit spooky at night.

Katie's POV

We had set up camp and looked around the woods till about sundown. The sunset was really pretty so much so Sam and Cas insisted on taking pictures of us in the pretty lighting. I didn't argue as I wasn't going to pass up the chance to have some beautiful pictures taken of us. We got some amazing pictures but soon enough the sun had gone all the way down. We pulled out our hunting gear and got ready to look for the wendigo.

"Hey guys I think we should check that cabin first"

"Why Katie"

"Well I think there's something there"

"Ok I guess we can explore it. You ok with that Cas"

"Yeah sounds good to me. Let's go"

So with the group taking my advice on going to the cabin first we made sure we had everything needed and thank God Sam had flash lights. We reached the front of the cabin quite fast and it looked creepier at night but we still went to the door and knocked. No answer...we looked at each other as to say what now. That's when Sam opened the door and walked in the cabin. Now let me tell you this, that cabin was amazing. It had a beautiful interior and there was still power some how. Sam took the second floor and I took the basement while Cas took the main floor. I made my way down the creaky stairs and turned on the dim light that was down there I saw how empty the basement was. There were shelfs and boxes. The shelfs were pretty empty other then some jars that seemed like they were filled with some sort of preserved living thing. Like organs or something honestly I don't know. I decided to see what was in the boxes and to my surprise there was just normal stuff in it. Ya know like a blanket. But the I picked up the blanket and saw a dead can with it's organs ripped out. Ew gross gross ew. Ok well time to find the others.

Sam's POV

We slip up to make it a little easier to figure out what was in the cabin and if we found something we would just scream or call for someone. So I took the second floor and it looked like a second floor. Dim lighting with small rooms, I'd say about 3 or 4 rooms from what I could see standing at the stairs. I walked through the hallway quietly till I reached the first door. I opened it and it was dark so I shined my flash light in and it was a small simple bedroom. I did the same thing to the rest of the rooms. 4 rooms in total and all of them were empty as far as I could tell for now.

Cas's POV

I was left with the first floor and it didn't seem like much. Infact I was pretty sure there wasn't going to be anything in this cabin. But I still looked around a bit. I made my way to the living room then the dining room and I saw nothing. But when I got to the kitchen there was a closet and muffled screams were coming out.

"Sam! Katie! Get your asses over here I found something!"
