This chapter is dedicated to my best friend. These past 7 years have been amazing and I know the years to come will be just as good if not better. Thank you so much for staying.
Cas's POV
I woke up for school Friday morning to my alarm. I wasn't ready for this school day. After the whole incident with my uncle I'm still a bit shaken and I can't help but blame myself for it. Sam text me this morning and asked if I could hang out after school. It seems like she had something important to tell me. I'm just having a rough week and I really don't feel like dealing with school right now. I talked to my mom and see if she's okay with me staying home for mental health day but still going to the bazaar tonight with Sam. She said it was okay so I made sure to let Sam know that I wasn't going to be at school but I will still be able to hang out with her after school and go to the bazaar.
Sam's POV
Cas seemed a bit off when I texted her. I didn't pay any mind to it until around lunch time. That's when I was just kind of sitting in the cafeteria on my phone and I decided to text Cas. I could tell in the way she was texting that something was getting to her. So I decided to confront her about it. She told me she was having a rough week so I decided that us meeting up after school today was for the best. Right as I finish texting Cas, Katie showed up with her lunch and sat next to me.
"Hey. Who were you texting"
"Oh just Cas"
"Cool"
"So are you ready for science"
"Not at all"
We both laughed a little at that and continued on with casual conversation. She was trying to get me to hang out with her after school but I told her I had plans. After lunch Katie and I went to science and everything went pretty smoothly. That class ended and I went to my last class of the day and enjoyed it. When that school bell ring to mark the end of the day I pretty much ran out of the building. I got to the park first so I sat and waited for Cas for about an hour and a half. It wasn't wasted time I did anything I need for school and did some reading. Once Cas showed up to the park, her and I sat on the picnic tables.
"So what's up"
"Idk I'm just a bit down"
"Do you need a distraction or do you want to talk about it"
"Just distract me for now"
So I did as she asked and we walked around the park picked up some sticks and rocks and other things we could find in the riverbed. Our visit to the park was short lived as it was cold and I still had my bookbag. We made our way back to my house and once we got there we went up to my room pulled out are sketchbooks and did some drawing. We pretty much did that the entire time along with listening to music, until it was time for us to go to the bazaar.
Cas's POV
We walked to the bazaar as it was only the next street over and I could hear the people talking and having fun along with some music. We got to the private school where it is held and we went into the gym. We walked around a bit seeing what games they had set up and if they had anything to buy. Then we got some drinks and some chicken nuggets and fries. Sam and I found a spot to sit and eat them while the rest of Sam's family continue to walk around. Eventually Sam and I finished our nuggets and fries and starting to walk around again. There's a stage in the gym that always had some knick-knack things that you could buy. They called at 'Grandma's Attic'. Sam and I walked around there for a bit and while we were doing so we bumped into Sam's cousin.
"Hey how's it going Sam. And I see you brought Cas"
"Yeah and I see you have friends too"
"Yeah it's their first time here"
"Oh nice well I'll let you get back to your friends"
"Yeah but it was nice to see you"
That little encounter with Sam's cousin was the only one where they actually spoke words. Because the bazaar was pretty small, it was just the gym ,the hallway leading to the gym and outside. We saw a lot of Sam's cousin, we didn't always say hi but we did see her. The rest of the night I tried to stay positive and enjoy myself while at the bazaar with Sam but my mind wouldn't shut up. Sam could see that so she took me to do some spin art.
"Sam I don't need spin art"
"Yes you do. When your sad and at the bazaar you do spin art to feel better"
"Ok fine"
She was right while making the spin art together we joked about some things from middle school and some inside jokes between her and I. She made me laugh and all in all doing spin art really made my night better. I know it sounds weird but it did. After a bit more of walking around the gym and going outside and cool down from being in the hot gym Sam's family was leaving and I was pretty tired so we left with her family.
Sam's POV
All in all the night was pretty good. I could tell after we could spin art Cas enjoyed herself more. We did however go home a bit early as it was quite cold outside and we were getting a little bored of walking around the same gym over and over again without seeing a prize that we wanted to win or something we wanted to buy. I had an amazing time and I can't wait to go tomorrow night.

This is dedicated to my best friend but I hope all of you liked it. It's kinda filler but I like it. I'll try to get more stuff up soon. I just haven't had it in the front of my mind the past few days.
