54|There Goes Tamashi

Sam's POV

It's been about a week since Adam passed. The funeral was today. No one should ever have to die like that. I was holding up fairly well considering the situation. But today was going to be hard. When we got there his parents were talking to some people who I am assuming are family. I don't know what I would do if I were in their shoes. Losing a child must be devastating. As the day went on, I talked to some of his family and friends. Lots of tears were shed and lots of memories were shared. While I was generally holding up ok by the time, we got to dinner I was a mess. I broke down to Cas and Dash. They told me it was all gonna be ok. But I'm not sure it will. Sure, we took care of the demon problem but what are we gonna do with the werewolf.

Cas's POV

Sam seemed to be doing ok for most of the day, but I knew at some point she'd break down. And she did. Luckily it was while I was still there to comfort her. After we all had gone home, I called Carter to talk to him and we just talked about what we should go with Tamashi.

"What do you think we should do with him"

"Honestly I don't know. I know I don't want him around anymore. Maybe we should see what Katie thinks"

"Yeah I'll talk to her and see what she says. Damn this has not been a good year for any of us"

"Well in a way it has been"

"What do you mean"

"You and I met so that's a good thing. And we got Dash a social life"

"Ha yeah true. I probably won't be in school this week. Let me know what drama I miss out on"

"Will do"

We talked for a few more minutes before I hung up. Jeez this is a lot to process. We have dealt with so much and now a death. Man, this is gonna be weird.

Sam's POV

As the days passed, they all merged together, and days turned to weeks. About a month later I had gone through the stages a grief for the most part. I was still a little upset and pissed off but who wouldn't be. At this point everyone in the group had decided that we need to get rid of Tamashi. I don't know if we're gonna kill him for just let him go but we're having a meeting to decide that today. It's a Saturday and we're all on my back porch. Everyone has an opinion and a thought of what we could do with him. But a majority of us don't just want to let him go. Katie, Carter, Dash and I are for just killing him, but Cas isn't.

"Cas why can't we just kill him"

"I think he deserves better"

"Even though he's the one who led the demons to us"

"We don't know that for sure"

"While that may be true Sam has a point"

"Thank you Katie"

"Katie doesn't count. She'd be down to kill anything"

"But still. You need to see that as soon as he stepped into this group nothing good happened"

"Ok that's true. I guess you guys are right"

With Cas finally caving and letting us kill him we got some stuff together and made our way to Carter's house as Tamashi was still tied up there.

Carter's POV

We made our way to my house so we could take care of Tamashi. Cas wanted to take care of this, so we gave her the pistol and while everyone else left the tree house I stayed with her.

"Hey Carter, what's up"

"Don't 'hey Carter' me. You lead the demons to us didn't you"

"Oh, so it's gonna be like that is it. In that case yeah, I was. Whatcha gonna do about it"

"Oh, I'm not gonna do anything"

"Am I supposed to be scared"

"You should be"

Cas chimed in and stepped out from behind me making sure Tamashi saw she had a gun.

"I'm not scared of you. You're just the freak of the group. The only reason they keep you around is because you of your weird powers"

"That's not true. Cas don't listen to him he's just trying to mess with you"

"I know Carter. And he's gonna pay for everything he's done"

Cas had this glint in her eyes that told me it was time for me to step out and let her do whatever she wants. As I was climbing down, I could hear Tamashi say something.

"Wait no. I can help. I can fix this. I'm sorry. Wait. Stop. I'm sorry. No!"

He's voice got muffled and as I got face to face with the others, I could hear his muffled screams.

"What is she doing up there"

Sam had been worried about Cas for a while so it was no surprise to me that she would be the one to ask what's going on with Cas.

"She said she could take care of it herself. So, I stepped out. She'll be fine. We might have a bit of a mess to clean up, but she'll be fine"

"If you say so"

After a few minutes we heard 2 gun shots. Then Cas came down covered in blood. Luckily no one at my house was home so I rushed her in my house and took care of her.

"What happened in there"

"I don't really wanna talk about it"

I decided to drop it because I could tell she wasn't going to open up about it right now. As Cas got in the shower, I went back outside to help the others with clean up. They had gotten his body taken care of already and all that was left was to clean the tree house. So, I got us rags and we got to work. A few hours passed and we had finally gotten all the blood off the walls and floor. Instead of talking about what just happened we went our separate ways for the rest of the day. Cas and I stuck together while Dash, Sam and Katie went to Sam's house. This has been an interesting day.

Hey guys I hope these chapters have been good. I'm trying to move the story along and make it easier to keep track of characters. I have got a lot of chapters and if you've made it this far I applaud you. While they may be short chapters it's still a lot. Anyways I hope everyone has been doing good.
