25|Getting To Know More

Carter's POV

Ok let me get this out of the way. Cas is so beautiful. Like wow she is just amazing. Now that's out of the way Cas and I where at her house. She was walking at grabbing snacks and drinks. I didn't talk much as I feel weird. This is really the first time I've been to Cas's house. I have seen her outside of school but never in a place she knew so well. I was sitting awkwardly on the couch when a small dog jumped up and started sniffing me.

"Oh hi. What's your name"

I was more saying it to Cas as she would know the dog.

"Her name's Bailey"

"Well hi Bailey"

"Cody is somewhere in here"

She was now looking for Cody. Weather that be another dog or a cat I don't know yet. But then a poodle walked over to me and sniffed my legs.

"I'm going to guess your Cody"

"Aw there he is"

"Apparently they like me"

"They like everyone"

Cas went back to looking through some books. Probably looking to see what could have taken Sam. There was a knock on the door. I got it so Cas could read.

"Oh hi Katie. Cas they're back"

"Ok let them in"

I opened the door more so Katie, Adam, and some new guy could walk in.

"Who are you"

"I could ask you the same thing"

"Dash, Carter. Carter, Dash"

"Thanks Cas but I think Carter can say his own name"

"But I didn't send Katie and Adam to get you so you could interrogate my friend"

"Fine. What do you have planned"

"So far I'm just trying to know what we are going to walk into"

"Good idea but do we know what it's not"

"We'll I don't think it's a djinn, werewolf, wendigo, skin walker, or vampire"

"Well there is still demon, ghost, and a lot more"

"Yeah I know. I'm working on it"

Cas through a book at Dash and he opened it up. Soon everyone had their nose in a book including me.

Dash's POV

It has been a few hours and we all where becoming sleep deprived so we went back to my house and had a sleepover. It's kinda hard to explain why your sister isn't with her friends. But we camped out in the living room for the night. Adam and I were on the floor, Katie and Cas on one couch, and Carter on the other couch. I think we got to my house at 11 pm and I didn't fall asleep till 2am. There was something telling me that Sam might not make it out of this alive. The thought kept poking at me while I was trying to sleep. But eventually my mind settled and let me sleep. I was the third person awake. Adam and Carter had woken up before me and where talking. I couldn't tell what because I was tired. Coffee time or at least I need to eat something.

"You guys hungry"

"Yeah. What do you got to eat"

"Mostly cereal but we have some fruit if your interested"

"I think I'll have cereal"

"What about you Carter"

"I'll just take some water"

"Alright"

I walked to the kitchen with Adam behind me. I showed him the cereals we had and where the bowls and spoon where. I made myself some coffee and grabbed a pop tart. I was sipping on my coffee when Cas had woken up. She was a bit groggy but nothing out of the ordinary for someone who just woke up.

"Good morning Cas"

"Morning Dash"

She shuffled her way to the bathroom and tried not to trip over anything. Carter was standing uncomfortably in the dinning room.

"Carter you can sit. I don't bite"

"Yeah I know that. I've just never been here before so it's a bit weird"

"You'll get used to it"

Cas had come out of the bathroom looking more awake. She then pulled up a pancake recipe and started making pancakes.

"You want some help Cas"

"If your offering sure"

It may seem like we all had forgotten Sam but that just wasn't true. Cas and Sam always made pancakes whenever they had a sleepover here. So I guess Cas is so used to making pancakes that she just kinda did. We all helped and by the time Katie had gotten up the batter was done and Cas was cooking them. We all had a good time. Carter got to know us all better and Adam got to see what a morning is like in the Brook household. Soon though Cas wanted to start looking at more books. Katie had gotten some tracking spell ingredients and started on her spell. It worked last time for me so let's hope it works for Sam. We all had something to do. I was cleaning up breakfast, Cas was looking through the books, Katie was working on a spell, Carter was doing research on the computer, and Adam was folding blankets well a expect for the one Katie wanted as apparently my house is too cold.

"Ok what do we do now"

"Well what didn't take Sam"

"Wendigo, vamp, werewolf, djinn, rugaru, skin walker, and or dragon"

"Well I didn't think dragons were still alive"

"They are and they are scary"

"Ok so it could be a demon, shape shifter, siren, wraith, crocotta, and there is a chance it's a God of some sort"

"Great. Well if it's a God we need to get an adult involved in this"

"Ok fair enough. How's the spell coming along Katie"

"Give me a sec I'm almost done"

Katie said a few latin words and the map she had pulled out burned till there was a 10 mill ratios round a part of the city.

"Isn't there supposed to be a smaller ratios"

"Well Dash I don't know. Just because I can use magic doesn't mean I know what I'm doing all the time"

"Ok well we need to figure out what we are hunting before we go in guns blazing"

"Yeah I agree with Dash"

"No one asked Adam"

We then all picked up either a book or a computer and looked in to the lore for anything and everything that might have taken Sam.
