48|Just A Break

Cas's POV

We ended up eating dinner at Carter's house. We just had pizza and watched a movie. It was a nice way to end a scary night. I went back to Sam's house and her and I talked out what we should do next.

"Well what do you want to do Sam. We got ourselves in this so how do we get out"

"I don't know yet. But we need to figure out what the heck that was. And if it might happen again"

"I know. So do you have any ideas"

"Maybe a demon or something like that"

"I'd say that's the closest thing we can think of"

"Yeah. But can we get some sleep. And can I borrow some pjs"

"Of course. You can take a shower if you want"

"Alright. Thanks Sam"

"No problem"

With that I took the pjs she gave me and took a shower so I wouldn't possibly get blood on anything in Sam's room. But now that I think about it I should probably go home and see my mom and dad just to check in with them.

Dash's POV

Even though we were at home now and safe there was still adrenaline pumping through my veins. I was laying in bed trying to calm down when I heard the shower turn on. Who ever that was had the right idea. I gotta get the blood out of my hair and cloths before my parents see. I'll see if Sam is in her room first.

"Hey Sam. Give me your bloody cloths I'll clean them"

"No I'll clean them but you can take them downstairs"

"Ok fine"

Our parents had just gotten back from a meeting so I ran down with the cloths and jumped into the shower. Hopefully Sam can hold them off from asking too many questions. I could tell you this much now. We are going to need a lot of hydrogen peroxide.

Sam's POV

While Dash and Cas were in the shower I had to hold my parents off so I put my hair up in a hat and went down to greet them. They didn't ask any questions. In fact as they went inside they just went to bed.

"Dash give me the cloths so I can clean them"

"With what we don't have any hydrogen peroxide"

"I'll get some"

"Well get some first"

"Fine"

I went out and got on my bike. I would usually walk but we need it fast. I have a feeling as soon as my parents hear that Cas and Dash are out of the shower they will want to use the bathroom and I need to get our cloths cleaned. With in like 15 minutes I got back with hydrogen peroxide.

"Ok I have like 5 bottles now let's go clean these in the basement"

"Alright let's go"

Dash and I where in the basement and Cas had joined us. The three of us cleaning blood out of t-shirts and jeans. It took a while but we made some good progress. It took about 2 hours though.

"Ok guys let's let these dry and clean them better tomorrow"

"Yeah good idea"

We went back and got well deserved rest.

Narrator's POV

All the teen were sleeping. It was around 2 in the morning when they had all finally gotten to sleep. Tamashi even got to sleep. This Sunday night was long and hard on these kids. And for the most part their parents where blind to it all. Katie had told her mom and her mom was proud. Cas hadn't really seen her parents since she got back from Disney. Yet so much had happened. And little did Carter's parents know that he had just fought off vampires. Look at it this way, how would you feel if your kid went through all this and you did know. Well I guess you wouldn't know so it doesn't matter. Well anyways this is leading to something bigger. Something that will push Cas's powers to their limits. Also Katie dyed her hair. So now her hair is a purple and blue hombre. You know that was a long process. Welp let's get back to the story.

Sam's POV

I happened to sleep in this morning. Cas was sitting up on her phone while I was just waking up.

"What time is it"

"9:27"

"Ugh I'm not in the mood to get up"

"Come on Sam you have to get up"

"Fine but I'm going to eat something"

I threw a hoodie on and went to look for something to eat that doesn't take to much time or effort to make.

"Chocolate cereal"

I screamed in the dining room. Everyone was awake. In fact Dash was on the couch watching YouTube on his phone. No one said anything about my random screaming as I do it a lot. But Cas did come down and sit on the other couch. I then went into the living room and turned on the TV and Xbox. I then pulled up YouTube and put on some Vines. This was the best way to get everyone to watch whatever I was watching. It was nice to just wake up and eat cereal while watching TV. I miss simple mornings like this.

Cas's POV

Mornings like this are what I miss. My mom picked me up and I got to see her, my sister and my animals. I miss the simple days of just sitting around doing nothing. I didn't have anything to worry about today. I just unpacked and did nothing all day. It was amazing. I think the best day I have had in a long time. I was still worried about what the hell happened back there but I really didn't want to talk about it. Carter did however text me just to make sure I'm ok. This is why I like him so much. At this point I just want another break from the life. But there ain't no rest for the wicked.
