Sam's POV
Katie was our distraction. She ran in front of the djinn and just started talking about random things. She confused it to the point it gave up on trying to kill her. Dash and I kept our distance as we circled Katie and the djinn. Dash made a run for it and tackled it to the ground. They rolled around fighting each other till the djinn got a good punch on Dash. I ran in and distracted it more while Dash got back to his feet and picked up his blade. I had a good hold on the djinn and Dash was finding the best way to attack it. I saw Dash creeping closer behind the djinn so I tried my best to keep it in one place. Then Dash ran up to it and stabbed it straight in the heart. The blade pierced straight through the djinn. It collapsed on to me and I took the chance to just breath. My heart was racing and my mind was going crazy.
Cas's POV
I was sitting in the hospital when I got a call from Sam.
"Hey Sam"
"We did it. We killed the thing"
"Wow that's amazing. Are you guys cleaning up now"
"Yeah. We have the body burning and we are putting our stuff away"
"That's good"
"Cas are you ok"
"Yeah why wouldn't I be"
"You sound off. I'm on my way to the hospital"
"I'm fine"
"No your not. Stay where you are I'm on my way"
Sam hung up and I couldn't help crying for the 4th time tonight. I could have done something to keep this from happening but I didn't. I'm the reason my uncle is laying in the hospital unconscious. My mom had gone home to check on my sisters and to bring me food. I wasn't hungry if anything I was tired. But I couldn't sleep so I waited for Sam to show up. After an hour she did.
"Oh my gosh you look worse then me. And I just killed a monster"
"Yeah thanks"
"Sorry but you need sleep"
"I'm not leaving"
"I never said you have to leave. Just get sleep. If you don't when he wakes up you won't be any good to him"
"Yeah I guess your right"
"I'll stay with you if you want me too"
"Thanks Sam"
"No problem Cassie"
Sam handed me a blanket and went to get me some water. But while she was gone I curled up and passed out. I had a long day and I needed rest. I just hope I don't have to go to school.
Sam's POV
When I got back with a bottle of water for Cas she was asleep so I didn't wake her. I let her sleep. Her mom stoped by with food but she told me I could eat it if I get hungry. It was nice of her mom to let Cas stay here. I started with her in case she needs someone to talk to at 3 am. But soon after her mom left I feel asleep. It wasn't untill like 5am that I woke up. I woke up to Cas humming a song that sounded familiar.
Cas's POV
I woke up before Sam and I didn't want to wake her up so I stayed quiet for the most part. I honestly didn't think she would have stayed but I'm happy she did. I started humming House Of Memories by P!ATD. I woke Sam up and I felt a little bad but I kept humming and soon she started singing along with my humming. Then we both were singing.

We sat in silence just listening to the beep of the heart monitor and the breathing of my uncle. That's when his eyes opened. I jumped up and grabbed his hand.
"Hey hey Uncle John. It's me it's Cassie"
"Cas..... Is ....is it really you"
"Yeah it's me. Sam get a nurse or something"
"Yeah on it"
Sam bolted out of the room and came back a few seconds later with a nurse. My eyes where filled with tears of joy. The nurse pushed Sam and I got of the room so she could check up on him. I called my mom while Sam called her brother. My mom was on her way and Dash was just happy we didn't lose anyone.
Katie's POV
After we burned the djinn and got out of the park we all went home. Well Sam went to make sure Cas was ok and that makes sense. But Adam and I went home. It took me a bit to fall asleep but at least I got sleep. I went to school the next day like a normal person. I got a text from Sam saying she wasn't going to be at school. That means I have to get her make up work oh well.
Sam's POV
Cas's uncle was fine but he stayed at the hospital for a few more days. Cas still felt bad about it all even though everyone has told her it's not her fault. Adam was still shaken and so was Dash but Katie and Cas seemed to be fine. I'm doing ok. I can't say much more. I'm worried something like this might happen again but instead of just hospitalised it's worse. I just hope the rest of year goes smoothly.
Dash's POV
I went to school but I was late. It was weird to know there's more out there. I just hope no one else gets hurt. My parents were worried about Sam and I but I got them off of our backs and Sam owes me one.
