42|We Got Some Problems

Cas's POV

I woke up to Sam standing on the balcony. For a second I thought she was a ghost. But it's just Sam. She turned and saw I was awake. She put on smile . I returned the smile and walked on the balcony to stand with her.

"Did you get to see the sun rise"

"No I got to sleep in a little"

"Well that's nice"

"Yeah I guess so. I wabt to get some pictures of us in some different places if you don't mind"

"I don't mind at all but talk to your mom and Katie first"

"Yeah I planned on asking during breakfast"

"That sounds good"

She seemed to have gotten some good sleep last night. I however kept waking up in the middle of the night. There was nothing to worry about. We killed the shifter and we could rest easy now. No matter how many times I told myself this I still couldn't believe it completely.

"Cas what's really going on"

"What do you mean"

"I mean Katie is a which. And sure it's cool and all but like that's crazy. And you have these strange powers that none of us can seem to explain. Not to mention I just threw myself into this. We dragged so many people into this. We have to take a step back and think about what we have been through"

I just stood there and waited for her to finish so I could try to get her mind off of this for at least the last days of our trip.

"Sure you met the love of your life and Katie found someone her age to go hunting with but think about this. I never wanted this. I'm only here because I wanted to support you. Katie is just so used to this that it scares me. I got my own brother involved. I can't keep pulling people into this. The guy I might like is involved in this. Cas I care about you and I'm worried. What if we never get a normal life.

That's when I knew I needed to step in and say something.

"That's just it Sam there is no getting out of it once your involved. You, Katie and I are all in this till we die. That's the life we have now"

"Cas you don't get it. I wanted to be a photographer and bless the world with amazing pictures and now I can't just because of this"

"I know Sam but you can't leave without putting more people in danger"

"Trust me I know. But what do we do"

"Push through it. Deal with our shit and push through it. We kill all the bad guys we can till we die. It's not a great life but it's a life"

I heard someone tap on the glass so I turned around. I was met with Sam's mom.

"Oh hey Mrs. Shannon"

"Good morning girls. I'm going to take a shower just to let you know"

"Alright mom"

Sam and I stepped back in and picked out what to wear for the day. This day will be interesting.

Katie's POV

From what I could tell Sam was hiding something. And I could just use a spell to have her tell me what's going on but I have a feeling she would tell me in her own time. We stayed in the Magic Kingdom for most of the day. We did however go to the Animal Kingdom. We had a lot of fun going on a bunch of rides and just hanging out with each other. Sam got the pictures she wanted and I got to eat some amazing food. Soon enough we headed back to the hotel and got our swim suits on. This was the last chance we had to swim so we did. While Sam and Cas where laughing there was something in their eyes that seemed to be bothering them. At this point I was getting worried and a little pissed.

"Ok guys I've had enough of this"

"What are you talking about Katie"

"Don't give me that bull Sam. What is going on with you two today"

"What do you mean"

"Drop the act and just tell me ok"

"I don't know what your talking ab-"

"Sam shut up. Let me tell her"

"Thank you Cas"

"I'm worried"

"What is that Cas"

"I have a feeling we are going to end up dealing with more then what we bargend for. And Sam is pissed that she dragged people into this life"

"Wait what. Sam what is she talking about"

"Katie look. You and Cas have been doing this your entire life but I put my self in this and then I dragged my own brother into this. Also Adam and Carter deserve to have normal lives too"

"Don't bring Carter into this. He can leave anytime he wants"

"Can he though Cas. Can he really. Especially when you base your life around this stuff. How can he leave and still support you. How can he leave and not feel that he let you down in some way"

With tears spilling over her eyes Cas got out of the pool and ran back to the hotel room. I looked over at Sam and shook my head in disappointment. I then got out of the pool and went after Cas. I can't believe this is all coming out right before we leave Disney. I wish we could have just had a peaceful and fun last 2 days. But shit happens.

Sam's POV

I was left alone as Katie had gone to find and comfort Cas. I felt bad but at the same time I knew I had a point. I didn't do so well with explaining what I was thinking but the thing is is that we need to take this serious. I care about Cas so much and to see her hurt by what I said just makes me shutter. Five minutes had gone by and I was still in the pool. At this point I need to go back to the room and see how Cas is. Man I majorly screwed up.
