She felt the glowingness of the rock, drumming through her hands. Her eyes felt power, energy. She knew that this rock was powerful. What was Jacob saying? Throwing it away? How could she throw something so..

"Special," she breathed. She enclosed her fist, and tightened her grip around then rock. She got back up and let her arms spread out wide. She looked at her hands, saw them glowing up, more vibrant, with a hint of a flamish blue.

Bam.

She blew up a bench.

"Wow," she breathed. Then she smiled, gave a giggle. "Wait 'till the rest see!"

Jacob opened the door to his home and gave a sigh. He quickly closed the door, and walked through the hallways.

On the walls were beautiful frames of his family, family portraits. He stared at one of them. He was smiling, with his parents and siblings. He was holding his baby sister, Elise, who was playing with his hair. They all were so happy, he gave another sigh.

He also noticed a tear sliding down from his cheeks. This time he didn't try and wipe his face. He let the tears flow.

Once he had enough, he went to the kitchen. He sat in the chair, and put his hand over his face. He screamed in rage, and rested his head on the table.

He never asked for this.

He got to the fridge and opened the door. All the food and fruit had gotten bad, and the smell made his throw up in his mouth. He went to go take a sip of water, which was 89% purifified. The metallic taste slipped through his mouth and he licked his lips. He took another drink.

Once he was done, he wiped his mouth. He went to go to his bedroom, which was upstairs.

Once he was in his room, he collapsed on the bed. He felt so happy to finally be on his bed, it felt like so long. He turned over and laid on the bed, his back against the sheets. He looked to the ceiling, then turned to see his posters.

One of them was about a book he realized. It was called Eclipse. A small man was portrayed in the front, with the sun getting eclipsed in the back. There were wolves from the other sides, howling.

He turned back to the ceiling, and drifted off into sleep.

Over the following days, Noor and her squad had finsihed the dome.

It was finished. The dome towered over the dome. Noor looked to the dome and sighed, "We did it."

Cole smiled, and yelled. "Fuck YEAH!" He went and gave high fives to the other engineers.

"I'm proud of you all," Morgan said, like a mother to her kids. "But w-"

"No," said Serena exhausted. "Don't tell us you want those worthless things applied." She crossed her arms, gave a blazing look to Morgan, which shot like daggers.

Morgan gave her a look. "Ma'am, they aren't worthless. We need them to live."

Before Serena began a fight, Noor interrupted them.

"Alright Morgan! We'll get started as soon as we can. We're glad you like the dome."

Morgan gave a satisfied nod, "Okay, see to it Noor. Hell knows how much time we have left before another calor roboris strikes." He wiped his sweating face, which was because he was nervous. He gave another nod, and left the scene.

"What a motherfucker," Serena said loudly as he kept walking, which earned a dark look from Noor. "Oh please, Noorie. You know its true, stop being a perfect bitch all the time."
