Amy breathing began to slow down, and her head felt dizzy. She could feel the air of the bird's flapping meet her, and she wished she handn't been so careless. Was the bird going to snatch her and then drop her as it had done with Jacob?

The bird quickly settled infront of her, giving her its signature glares.

The creatures watched from the shelter of the forest, feeling sorrow for Amy. But so,e of them would, watching, emotionless. They knew the Guardian wouldn't do no harm to her, becuase she had helped the creatures of the Second World.

Amy started to breathe heavily, their eyes locking. She wiped the sweat off her forehead, still breathing. She made no movement, and the bird made no movement. It seemed time had frozen.

Then she scratched her head, breathing still, and asked, "What do you want from us?" When she said "us", she indicated the human race. She had noticed that the bird almost always tried to break into the dome. Thank God, Morgan and the crew had built it with fine glass, or else. She gulped.

The bird gave a low caw. She looked to the forest, her saw growing louder. She was telling the creatures to come out of hiding, and that it was safe, she would do no harm to this one. But she wanted something.

Some of the creatures came, obeying. Some were reluctant, for they feared she was going to trick them. When they all came out, she gave a satisfies look, and looked to Amy. Then she cawed at them, and gave them orders.

The slowly bent over, looking at Amy, some of their eyes wide, some narrowed. The group then slowly backed to he side, allowing the young fawn to pass through. In its jaws was a small necklace. It looked to Amy with bright eyes, and also jumped on her.

The doe rushed quickly to the fawn, restraining her energy. She quickly gave a glimpse to Amy, then grunted at the fawn.

The fawn looked down, and it opened its jaws at Amy's hands. The necklace dropped softly into her palms. Confused, she looked at it, examining. The necklace had a small pendant, what looked close to the rock she had obtained weeks ago. She looked up to the bird.

"Uh, what do I do with this?" She slowly brought up the necklace to her face, still looking at it, even more confused. "Do I wear it?"

The bird gave a nod.

She was reluctant, and the creatures gave her an ensuring smile. She hesitantly put it around her neck, then secured it.

Suddenly, the bird began speaking. "Hello," it's voice was nice and soft, like an angel's.

Startled, Amy staggered back. "Y.. y.. you can talk!" she stuttered. The creatures began to laugh at her reaction, and one of the beasts went up to her. He told her, his voice rough, "Of course, it's the necklace around your neck."

"Yes," the bird said, it's beak turned to a small smile. She then became serious, "I've noticed your actions in the Second World, and I'm quite pleased."

Amy didn't reply, for she was still in shock.

The bird continued, "And I've heard what you said to me, 'What do you want from us?', is that correct?" Amy gulped, and gave a slow nod of affirmation. "Truth is, I don't know, exactly. But my instinct tells me to look to where your beings live. Something is there that I must need."

Amy, gathering some courage, yelled to her. "Why did you drop my friend from above the sky?" It was such an abrupt move, that the bird didn't reply right away. Impatient, she asked, "Well, why?"

"He killed innocent animals," she answered back. The creatures looked to one another in agreement, some were still grieving for their lost ones. "And also that woman had evil intent to do harm, but you fixed it, thank you."
