"Uh.. what's that..?" Noor asked, looking at the beasts Jacob and Helen had caught.

Helen fed Galloway a linty apple, which Galloway ate happily. Food was scarce, she even knew. She licked Helen's hand, when she had finished the apple. Helen replied, "What else? Probably the beasts you guys saw."

"Is it edible?" a woman asked from the crowd, her voice sounded disgusted. People began to mumble words, which were then silenced by Morgan.

He had appeared, after the crowd began encircling the survivors. He looked to Helen, amused, his face showing sympathy. "You're lucky you people made it," he told them. He crouched down low, inspecting what they had caught.

"It's the beasts you were talking about," Jacob said to him.

Morgan nodded, and opened one of the beasts jaws. It revealed long rows of sharp teeth, they were very long, and very sharp. Morgan quickly got up. "I'm surprised you even managed a catch," he looked to Helen.

"It wasn't me," she said honestly. "I was too busy trying to save our asses." She looked to Jacob, for she was sure he was the culprit.

"I.. I guess it was me," Jacob said, mumbling. He fidgeted his fingers.

"How, son?" Morgan said, placing his hand on his shoulder.

"It's uh.. a little complicated," he replied, guilty.

Morgan gave a smile. "Are you shy, son? Alright, you can tell me some other time." He looked to the catches, and he said he would take one of the beasts for the name of science and study them, to understand how the world is now. Then he said that the rest could be made into a meal, hopefully.

The crowd began to murmur again, most if the voices sounded disgusted. One of the people has actually said that they would rather kill themselves than eat that. Of course, they all received a hush from Morgan, as he told them that it was no choice, not even a suggestion, it was an order.

"Plus," he said, adding from his speech, which had gotten eyeballs, "they might tahre good. You never know 'till you try, right?"

Jacob couldn't help but make a face. He looked down the the beasts, but then they were soon dragged away by one of the people.

They made a face, and put their hands over their noses, and said, "I'm gonna give this to Marjorie, maybe she can make a dinner out of this." People began coming, to help this person out, but they were also disgusted.

Jacob made his way through the crowd, when he felt his arm get tugged back, hard. The force made him almost stumble to the ground. He regained his footsteps, then looked up, to see Amy.

She looked worried. Then she hissed, "You never told me that you were gonna go out there." She nodded her head, to the dome, indicating the outside. She was clearly upset. It was visible in her face.

Jacob brushed off his jeans, and muttered a sorry. "I just. I decided to go and help Helen out. You know?"

"In a world like this? You," she paused for a second, thinking of whether to say it or not. When she felt like it didn't matter, she continued, "You could've died out there, you know that?!"

"I think I was well aware of it, before I decided to go with her," Jacob said, making a grin. When he saw Amy's stern face, his smile faded. "Right, sorry. But I thought you were asleep?"

"I was, but then I woke up with a bad dream," she told him. She explained that she got up from her bed, her head dizzy. She expected Jacob to be right near him, but when she noticed he wasn't here, a wave of panic surged her. "I thought something happened to you," she explained. She then said that she had heard you had gone with Helen, and with all her energy, she decided to see if it was true.
