Chapter 1

You groaned as the realization hit you.

The first day of school will be in 2 weeks which means another school year and a year of suffering. You'll finally be a senior, it was going to be your first year, although, you don't know if you were going to survive that one year. It was not the lessons or projects that was killing you, it was the bullies.

You had been their target since elementary, they often body shame you because, well, you couldn't deny that you were fat that time but once you reached junior secondary school, you lost a lot of weight but you were still often called 'chubby'. They would insult you. Talk trash about you. Even your most trusted best friend, Joo Ahra, at least that was what you think. She betrayed you and you trusted her. You never told your parents once what you were experiencing. You just didn't want to cause any more trouble.

"Yah! Kang Jiyeon! Lunch is ready!" Your mother shouted.

"Coming!" You shouted back. You ran downstairs.

You sat down with your family as you ate.

"Appa, Eomma, Jihyo will come over later for dinner, she said she misses all of you." Your brother, Kang Daniel said.

You didn't know why your parents allowed him to change his name into 'Daniel' while they wouldn't allow you.

You frowned at the thought.

Park Jihyo is his girlfriend, she's sweet and kind to you.

"Awww, tell her we missed her too." Your mother said, while your brother nodded.

They were both idols from different companies. Your brother is a member of Wanna One while Jihyo is a member of Twice. You were not allowed to tell anyone about them and you were not planning to.

"Jiyeon-ah, why are you so down?" Your father asked, your father is a sweet man.

"Can I stop going to school?" You mumbled but your mother heard it.

"Do you even hear yourself?" Your mother nagged. She favors your brother more than you.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it." You said as you covered your ears.

"Aish... why can't you be like your brother?" Your mother said.

"Don't be like that to her." Your father said.

While your mother favors your brother more, your father adores you more because you were the 'baby' of the family. Even so, everyone knew that your mother loves you so much, only you couldn't see that.

After eating, your mother told you to wash the dishes and so you did.

After that, you went to your room.

You turned on the lights.

You saw your brother using your phone.

"Yah, you have your own phone, use yours!" You yelled at him.

"I just texted someone, I didn't have enough balance so I used yours." Your brother laughed.

"Yah!" You attacked him. You hit him with your pillow.

"Get out!" You demanded.

But before he completely closed the door, he mumbled something but it was too loud for you to hear.

"You should stop being angry, you're turning into a monster and your braces makes it worse." With that, you threw him the pillow you were holding and he finally closed the door.
