Chapter 18

"Where did I put it?" Eunbi mumbled as she searched through her locker.

"Can you hurry up noona?" Sanha asked, for some kind of reason, he was feeling unease.

"Here is it!" Eunbi chirped as she took out a picture of them when they were kids.

"Eomma told me to give it you all." She said as she put her hands on her waist proudly. The boys nodded.

"Can we come back now?" Minhyuk asked. The others nodded.

"Help!"

The boys instantly hurried to the cafeteria when they heard your voice.

When they entered the cafeteria, everyone felt silent.

They saw Ahra standing not so far yet not so near from you.

You were laying on the ground gasping for air, your body was swollen.

"Jiyeon!" Myungjun shouted as he ran beside you, the others followed. Eunbi was nowhere to be found.

"Help," You managed to say as you were crying, desperately gasping for air to enter your lungs.

Bin called an ambulance.

A little later, a rescue team arrived.

"It's ok Jiyeon, you're going to be ok," Myungjun said as he wiped your tears. The rescue team took you out.

"Peanuts," Minhyuk mumbled, yet everyone heard.

"What?" Dongmin asked.

"Peanuts! Who fed her peanuts?!" Minhyuk yelled with rage. Everyone was still silent, afraid to answer the angry Minhyuk.

"She's allergic to peanuts! Who gave her peanuts?!" Sanha yelled, with rage as well.

"She's allergic to peanuts? Then why does her sandwich have peanut butter in it?" Jinwoo asked as he showed everyone your sandwich.

"Who did this?" Myungjun asked trying to calm himself. No one answered.

"WHO DID THIS?!" Myungjun yelled.

"A-Ahra did," A girl said, obviously scared of Myungjun.

Everyone's attention was on Ahra. Myungjun approached the now-scared Ahra.

"Give me that," Myungjun said as he pointed at the peanut butter jar behind Ahra.

"H-Huh?" She stuttered.

"I said..." He leaned not so close to Ahra.

"Give.me.that." He said, voice colder than ever. Ahra nodded and gave it to him.

Just in time, the principal came, very unhappy with what happened.

You woke up still feeling tired. You noticed that the ceiling was quite familiar, a white ceiling to be exact. You instantly knew that you were in a hospital.

"Oh god, Jiyeon! You scared us!" Your mother said as she wiped her tears.

"I'm fine," You said in a very weak tone.

"Aigoo, don't scare us like that!" Your father said he wiped his tears too. You smiled weakly at them. Suddenly, the door opened, revealing a person with a black face mask. He closed the door and ran to you to hug you.

"Pabo, I told you to be careful." He mumbled as he cried.

"Don't cry, oppa." You said, he looked at you and took off his mask.

"Not cry? You almost died and you're telling me not to cry?! Jiyeon, you're really stupid!" He said as wiped his tears. You patted his head weakly.

"I'm ok now, so don't worry anymore." Your weak voice said. Daniel wiped his tears again.

"We're going to buy foods ok? Stay here, Daniel." Your father said and they exited the room.

Suddenly, Daniel's phone started to ring. He took out his phone and answered the call.

"How's Jiyeon?"

It was Jihyo on the other line. Daniel enabled the video call. He showed you to Jihyo.

"How are you?"

"Don't worry eonnie, I'm fine."

"I'm sorry, I am not able to go there,
we had to go back to Seoul."

"It's fine."

"Anyway, I need to go now. Daniel!
take care of her."

"Yes ma'am!"

Daniel replied and then she hung up. You heard Daniel sighed. You looked at him, meeting his eyes.

"Aish, be careful next time ok? And tell me, who did this to you?" He asked furrowing his brows.

"No one oppa, I just accidentally ate--" You were cut off by your brother.

"What did I told you about keeping things to me?" He said. You sighed.

"I don't know." You said in an 'actually' tone.

"You really don't know?" He asked as he raised his brow. You nodded surely. He also nodded in understanding.

Suddenly the door opened, revealing a stranger, a man to be exact, that was also wearing a mask and a hat.

He shut the door and was breathing heavily. Both you and Daniel looked at him. He then took off his mask and his eyes looked at yours.

"Oh, you must be Jiyeon, I'm Park Jihoon." He offered his hands and you shook it. You smiled at him.

"Another member of Wanna One?" You asked as you retreated your hand because Daniel kept glaring at Jihoon.

"Yeah," He chuckled a little while scratching his nape.

Cute.

"How are you? I heard that you had a severe allergic reaction." He asked with wide eyes.

"I'm alright now, thanks for asking." You said as you bowed a little.

"You don't need to be too formal, you're our Daniel's little sister so please be comfortable." He said as he smiled at you sweetly.

"Ahem, ahem" Daniel faked a cough. You looked at him with a 'What the fuck dude? You just ruined the mood' look. He looked at you with an 'I know' look.

"Oh right, we need to go now, our manager is really going to kill us!" Jihoon pulled Daniel.

"What?! No! I'm staying with my Jiyeon!" Daniel said. And then the door opened again, revealing your parents. Jihoon instantly bowed to them.

"It's ok Daniel, you can go." Your father said.

"But--" Daniel tried to argue.

"Go," Your mother said as she hugged Daniel. Daniel looked at you one last time before closing the door.

"Take care, Jiyeon."
