Chapter 39

You were just staring at the clock for almost an hour. You finished everything you had to do in the house. Your parents went to work. And you were alone in the house.

You needed to wait 7 more hours.

It was announced that seniors have no classes today.

The prom starts at 5 o'clock.

You were bored.

You decided to open the television to watch something. You stopped and watch a certain channel because of the news break. It showed a girl, not just an ordinary one, destroying houses by a single ear-piercing scream.

"What the heck..." You muttered. You couldn't believe what you were seeing.

"The boys!" You gasped in realization. At that moment, your phone rang and by your luck, it was Jinwoo.

"Meet us there, now!" Jinwoo said.

You and the boys went to the place of the scene.

You witnessed all the houses, and not to mention all the police scattered in the area and tried to stop the girl.

She screamed.

All of you covered your ears but that wasn't actually enough. You felt one of the boys dragged you in the nearest alley. All of you looked at each other and gave a nod. All of you focused and not a few seconds later, you were already in your suit. You looked at the boys and they were prepared as well.

"Everyone hold hands, we're going to teleport there." You said. They obeyed and in a blink of an eye, you were all already in the scene.

Everyone looked at you all.

There was a moment of silence but then the girl decided to ruin it with a scream. You and the boys were thrown. You flew to the nearest cop with a megaphone.

"EVERYONE GET OUT OF HERE!" You yelled.

"But miss--" you cut the cop short.

"Yes, all of you have to go too." You said and ran to the boys who were busy knocking on the girl.

The boys were having a hard time fighting her. They didn't have the guts to hit or hurt a girl. Seeing that they were having a hard time, you knew you had to do something.

You threw a kick at the girl's abdomen. She fell to the ground wincing.

"Well, that was easy." You said and knelt at the girl's level.

"Now, if you don't want to feel--" You were cut off when she pinned you down to the ground. She sat on your abdomen as she held a small weird-looking knife. Your eyes widened.

"H-Hey, you wouldn't stab me with that, right?" Your voice was trembling. She smirked as she stabbed your left arm.

You let out a scream as you felt the agonizing pain. She intended to stab you again but you used your power to throw her. The boys ran in your direction.

"Are you ok? Sorry, we couldn't hurt the girl earlier." Jinwoo said.

"T-That's ok." You managed to say. Suddenly, all of you heard another ear-piercing scream.

"No time to waste, we need to protect everybody." You said and stood up with your injured arm.

"Are you sure-" You cut Dongmin shortly.

"I'll be ok." You said as you stood up and flew in her direction. You continued to follow her. You saw her stop at the park.

Anxiousness spread all over your body as you saw many people there.
